There was a marathon going on in Rome where we were suppose to meet our tour guide. Because of the all the commotion we arrived late. One of the other guides took us to our guide. She went above and beyond to connect us.
Tour company should have told us to plan for my time. We had no idea marathon was happening.

This is our second time to do this tour - this time we brought family. It was good at the beginning. But it went on TOO long and attention spans of the group were obviously exceeded, but the guide kept going on and on. It went past the alotted time and people needed to leave to get to other things, but he kept saying "just one more thing and then I will set you free." He ended with giving his list of restaurant recommendations which we (and I suspect others) did not need. It kind of left a bad taste for the end of the tour. Still a good tour company, but very much depends on the guide you end up with.

We were denied entry because the name on my son's ticket was not updated, despite the fact that I had requested a name change days prior to the tour. Now they are refusing a refund since we arrived at the check in.

We sincerely regret that you were unable to join the tour; however, we must clarify the requirements for entry, which are clearly stated during the booking process and on your voucher.
It is explicitly noted that all tickets must be issued with the names exactly as they appear on each visitor's official government-issued ID. We issued the tickets using the specific names provided at the time of booking. Furthermore, our policy—which is also clearly outlined—states that no amendments or name changes can be processed within 3 days of the tour departure.
We have no record of a name change request prior to this 72-hour cutoff.
Because these tickets are timed and name-specific for security purposes, they cannot be updated at the check-in point. Consequently, we are unable to offer a refund for missed entry under these circumstances.

Although we have done the Colosseum before, we learned so much more through this tour and especially with our very knowledgeable guide, Laura. She easily and clearly flowed through facts and history of both sites while cleverly used images from a portfolio to show how things looked during the Colosseum’s pinnacle of use. While sometimes challenging to keep up due to the massive crowds, Laura always paused and waited for the group to catch up. We were never out of breath from rushing or going up and downstairs. Posed questions asked were always answered with a wealth of information. She was the perfect guide to these sites of antiquity. This is a great overview tour, which also allows you to remain longer at the Roman Forum after the tour to meander on your own. Highly recommended!!!

Amazing experience! Our tour guide, Elena, was magnificent. She is an archaeologist who has multiple masters degrees and has studied in many countries including the USA. She gave in-depth details about the coliseum, palatine hill and the roman forum bringing us back to the era when these historic sites were alive and bustling. She had a detailed, educated response for every question asked.

We were unsure of the size of this tour group, but Hysam the Egyptian tour guide did a great job keeping us all together. It was very crowded that morning. It wasn’t hard to find the check in folks. I don’t understand why anyone would want to do this on their own.
