Our guide Sylvia was very kind, engaging, and knowledgeable. Would absolutely recommend this tour and Sylvia. Everything went smoothly and we never felt rushed. There were only six of use of the tour which made it much easier to keep track of people and answer our questions. We saw the crowd waiting for regular admission and were very relieved we didn’t have much of a wait besides the short wait to enter the grounds.

Alessia was amazing! We had a small group of us for the sunrise tour experience and our guide was very accommodating to what we were interested in. Having someone to really break down all the little things to look out for and appreciate throughout the museums and the chapel made the biggest difference.
Response from Host, Sept 2025
Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re thrilled to hear that Alessia made your sunrise tour so special. It’s wonderful that her attention to detail and ability to highlight the little things helped you truly appreciate the museums and chapel. We’re glad you enjoyed a personalized experience with your small group!

Vatican is wonderful but absolutely too many people admitted at the same time making the experience uncomfortable due to heat and overcrowding.
Response from Host, Sept 2025
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We completely understand that the crowds and heat at the Vatican can make the experience challenging at times. We’re glad you were able to visit such an incredible site, and we hope that with future visits, our guided tours can help make the experience more comfortable and enjoyable.

I’m so glad we chose a semi-private tour. Our tour guide Ala was lovely and very knowledgeable. Even when we ran into a bit of rain she had an alternate plan for us. I have been to the Vatican and museums before but I learned much more this time thanks to the tour.
Response from Host, Sept 2025
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your semi-private tour with Ala and that her knowledge and flexibility made the experience so enjoyable — rain or shine.
We greatly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you back for another memorable tour in the future!

Well there was only 3 of us in the tour. The tour guide only would scan the actual ticket into the phone of one person. I requested to take a picture of the ticket and she would not allow it. I told her I at least needed to take a picture of her identification and she almost refused to that too! At that point if I did not have limited days I should have left. Although the guide was very cordial there were many words in translation she had difficulty with. I had been with other guides that began the name of the piece the time period and date. This guide would start off with a story. In any case tourist at mainly there to take pictures of what we cannot take with us. Those of us that are actual art lovers and have studied would have a much higher standard of who would guide us. I became list from my tour in St. Augustine. Let me remind you there was only 3 of us and the client she scanned the tickets to for all 3 of us was walking with a severe limp. I started to take pics and when I turned to look for them they were gone. Every other tour guide I have been with give you ear buds and the tour guide carries a flag. When I am taking pics I know immediately when the voice begins to fade I am too far away and must start looking. But with the Jubille festival with no hearing speaker device and no flag there is no way you could find anyone. Not even J Edgar Hoover could solve that one! When I tried to go to the balcony some I had to pay again. I explained what had happened. They told me if I found the tour guide and she showed my ticked the museum would reimburse me. Of course I never saw the 4 of them again. Very sneaky unchristian thing to do at the Vatican.

We had a very nice experience with our tour guide Ornella. She was attentive to my mother in law making sure she had a place to stand in the shade and a spot to sit and rest. She was extremely knowledgeable and even took photos of us which was appreciated. Would definitely recommend this tour.

My wife and I toured Vatican City with Alex (Alessandro). We were the only two people who booked this specific tour, so we were given a very individualized experience. Alex was extremely knowledgeable of the Vatican, its architecture, and its historical and religious significance. He explained everything in a brief yet thorough manner and made sure that we were not overloaded on details that we were not interested in. He also gave us some time to explore certain areas independently. Alex himself was extremely kind and made it an all-around amazing experience. Would highly recommend this tour and Alex, specifically.
Response from Host, Jul 2025
Grazie for sharing this. We’re really happy Alessandro made the visit feel personal and well-paced—it’s exactly the kind of experience we hope to offer.

Fabulous experience!!! Marina was amazing and so knowledgeable! The visit to the Vatican Museums was a perfect length and hit the highlights. The Sistine Chapel was stunning. I would have loved to take pictures, but that was a restriction from the Vatican. St. Peter’s Basilica was outstanding!! Marina gave us so much information and helped us navigate the day. I highly recommend this experience!!
Response from Host, Jun 2025
Grazie for this wonderful note. We’re so glad the time with Marina felt just right and that the experience left such a strong impression. Moments like these are what make a visit to the Vatican truly special.

The Vatican was amazing. It was a very disappointing experience considering the amount of money we spent to get an intimate small group experience. But most importantly a once in a lifetime e patience that did not come to fruition as we had dreamed of. We had a horrible tour guide. A 3 hour tour that only lasted 2 hours. Our tour guide, Angelica was inconsiderate in her tone and approach. She said we didn’t have time for pictures. She gave very minimal insight into what we were seeing. We must have drawn the short stick in the guide we got.
Response from Host, Jun 2025
We are truly sorry to hear that your experience with the tour did not meet your expectations. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the Vatican itself, but we understand how important it is for everything to go smoothly. We apologize if the guide did not meet your expectations, and we will take your feedback into account to improve our services. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we will work to ensure that future tours better align with our guests' expectations.
Thank you for your feedback.

Luigi was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable, funny, friendly, and passionate about Roman antiquities. He's a professional. Learned a lot. Very enjoyable.
Theresa_H, May 2025
The tour company reached out to us a few days before to inform us that due to the upcoming Conclave, the Sistine Chapel would be closed, and asking if we would still like to do the tour. We said we did and they let us know the meeting time and location. Our guide Luigi was right on time. He was very knowledgeable and personable, but spent the first 15 or so minutes of our time inside the museum explaining a lot of Roman history to us, which could have been shortened or skipped altogether as it reduced our museum time and ended up rushing us between the museum and St. Peter's. The Vatican Museum was amazing to see - so much history and beautiful artwork - which I would have appreciated more time to take in. Once done with the museum, we went to St. Peter's Square, but had to wait for over an hour to get through a single gate to enter - not the fault of the tour company, though since it was Jubilee. Once we finally were able to get into the Square and Basilica, it was fantastic. St. Peter's Basilica is a spectacular structure and we were lucky enough to be able to witness Mass (possibly with Pope Leo also in attendance before his selection!). The pipe organs were enormous and filled the basilica with the most amazing music and the structures, sculptures, and artwork were breathtaking. I would definitely love to go back but would likely do tours of the museum and basilica on separate days since there is so much to see in both areas.

This was a very interesting tour and our guide Alberto did a great job navigating us through the crowds and pointing out things that we would have totally missed on our own. Definitely learned a lot and enjoyed it more than if we had tried to do it on our own. I enjoyed the fun facts and enlightening stories.

This tour is a must if you’re in Rome. Our tour guide, who was exceptional, covered a huge amount of content and inspired, energized, and engaged us throughout the tour.

Great access and very knowledgeable guide, who took the time to explain the meaning behind the art works. Very informative and friendly. Nice small group of 6 made it easy to flow through and converse on thoughts and feelings the places, and works evoked

Michaela did a fantastic job! She enhanced our experience with her knowledge and use of a guidebook to optimize our experience!

The guide was very caring. However, our expectations were much higher in terms of hearing facts and stories that are insightful and interesting
Response from Host, Nov 2024
Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you found the guide caring, as we prioritize a welcoming and attentive experience. We’re sorry to learn that the tour didn’t fully meet your expectations in terms of more in-depth stories and insights. Your input is valuable to us, and we’ll work to enrich our tours with even more engaging and detailed content. We appreciate your honesty and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a more memorable experience in the future.

The tour guide, Marina, was excellent. She was highly educated and had her own little nuggets to share. However, the Vatican was closed and we learned of it when we arrived. The Vatican is the most revered part of the tour and this is why we paid the money we did, only to be told we can't get in. This is not against Marina, but the company should take notice and provide a partial refund; this is good customer loyalty and smart business. We haven't heard of any adjustments to be made.
Response from Host, Oct 2024
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re thrilled to hear that Marina impressed you with her knowledge and insights! However, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience of the Vatican being closed during your visit.
We do strive to keep our guests informed about any closures, and we appreciate your feedback on this matter. It's essential for us to improve our communication, and your suggestion about a partial refund is noted for future considerations.
We hope to welcome you back for another fantastic experience in the future!
See you next time!
