Great experience. A long tour and tiring but worth it 100%. We had just one day in Switzerland and this tour was perfect for us . We git to drive through the scenic landscape from Zurich to Lucerne to interlaken and Juan frau joch. The bus stopped only at interlaken and main destination was Juan gfrau. But the drive itself was beautiful. On interlaken you only get to see the main street. Juangfrai stop was longest, we went by train and cable car and the experience was out of the world! Great tour with a better guide!

What a great tour; you get a lot of free time to wander Lucerne and Mt. Pilatus, and being able to take a cable car, gondola, cog railway, and ferry all on one trip was very special. Views from the mountain top were great. I think what made it extra special though was our guide Viktor. He went above and beyond to make the experience excellent for everyone on the trip. One of the best guides I have seen in the 90+ countries I have visited.

After spending over 2 wks...

After spending over 2 wks in Europe, this Pilatus Viator trip was the icing on the cake. After breathtaking gondola rides up the mountain, 2+ hours at the top to hike, explore, eat, shop, and REALLY enjoy all of the beauty in so many directions, then the unique cogwheel train ride down the mountain, to end with a 1+ hr boat ride on Lake Lucerne. Such a wonderful excursion. And Erika our guide was wonderful. She let us know what, when, options, etc. Only recommendation may be to let people know where to sit in the cogwheel train to get best views. This is a must do if ever near Lucerne. It was such a great way to end our 2+ week travels thru Europe

The tour allowed us to see three different areas each having unique characteristics.. There’s a good balance between bus riding and walking the last time bus driving then sightseeing and walking. Tell me it’s a good opportunity to bail us out Citi life country life. I highly recommend the tour.

Superb experience, suitable for all ages

Superb experience, allow about 5 hours or longer if you want to undertake one of the mountain-top hikes. We chose to start with the lake trip and end on the cablecar. In late September the weather was extremely warm and unbroken sun so take suncream. If ferry timetables allow, build in a 60-90 minute gap at Alpnachstad. There are lovely cafés and llake views, but more importantly the queues to board the cogwheel can be cumbersome. On the day we travelled they were almost sold out so at short notice they held back all travellers who had not opted for the 5CHF seat reservation

Transportation needs GREAT IMPROVEMENT

The tour guides were 10-15 minutes late as the double decker bus we were on was coming from Zurich. He then proceeded to lie to my group of 7 by saying he was on time. Later on the bus, he did admit and apologized for being late due to the transportation from Zurich leaving late. We were cramped and closterfobic on the bus as the seating was small as well as the ceiling height was the same because of being a double decker. I'm all for the company making a profit, but it was ridiculous. The views and scenery were amazing. I would look at other tour companies and specifics along with pricing before I booked.
