Very nice and relaxing experience

The tour was very nice. We were lucky with the weather. David, our guide, was excellent, but the others from the boat or the wineries were all very nice as well and gave us a wonderful time. We would do it again anytime. The end of October is a good time because autumn makes the wineries shine in all colors and it is not too cold.

Sunday afternoon activity

We are 4 women in their 40’s visting Porto and we did this workshop on Sunday (afternoon). It was perfect! Maria and her collegues took the time to explain, to help out if you were stuck or even wanted to think ‘out-of-the-box’. They have several templates which you can use if you’re not a drawing artist, and you can drink 1 cocktail or mocktail. At the end of the workshop, you can take your tile home already! It’s nearby the train station, in the center so easy to find.

Great introduction to Porto, with one area for improvement

This tour was a wonderful introduction to Porto, particularly for anyone with mobility challenges who wants to see a lot of the city without extensive walking. Our guide was excellent, and we were able to see and learn about so much of Porto. My only criticism is that it was difficult to hear the guide unless you were seated immediately next to him. He spoke at a perfectly reasonable volume, but between the noise of the tuk-tuk itself and the surrounding street traffic, much of his commentary was difficult to hear. A microphone with headsets or earbuds would have made a significant difference, allowing everyone to hear clearly and fully enjoy the information being shared throughout the tour. Overall, this was a very enjoyable and worthwhile experience, and I would recommend it, especially for visitors looking for an accessible way to explore Porto. I hope the company considers improving the audio setup, as it would allow all participants to have an equal experience.

Great birthday present!

The course was a lot of fun. While we prepared the pastel de nata as a group under guidance, a lot was explained in detail and support was provided. At the end, we were given a recipe, which is great for making it at home. The course was very well received as a birthday present! We had our 7-month-old baby with us, who was welcomed by everyone. I would book it again.

Fabulous well organised trip and Chris was great and very friendly! It’s a one and a hour hour journey each way but well worth it as the scenery is so beautiful. Wine/port tasting with bread and olives/olive oil then a delicious lunch with wine and desert great value for money and the other two couples were great company. Definitely recommend!

Highly recommended tour

A great food and history tour and there was tastes of Pastel de nata, bifana, salt cod fritters, tasting of muscat, vienho verde and ginja. Not too heavy of a tasting. Our guide was the highlight ( Jose-Miguel) he was attentive, interesting and knew his city and more importantly he was authentically interested in each person and that they had a great experience! Highly recommend Jose! He also sent us additional recommendations after the tour. I would do this tour on my first night so you know what to go back for and can use his other recommendations.
