Amazing Tour Day - Highly Recommend!
What a fantastic experience! Not only were the places we visited beautiful and super enjoyable but our tour guide, Danny, was super informative. The suspension bridge was a fun and thrilling experience and the Paiva Walkway had stunning scenery. Walking in the forest, beside the river, rapids, and waterfall felt almost meditative. The stop in Costa Nova was a welcome little treat of sunshine, sand dunes and the cutest little ice cream shop. Our lunch was thoroughly enjoyable at a small little local restaurant - authentic and welcoming. Aveiro was a treat at the end of our day. Walking the canals and little shops was enjoyable - and our friends also took the boat ride and found it to be informative and fun. Danny again gave the best recommendations for the stores of where to find the best selection of salt products, tripas, and what loop to walk to get the most from our time there. Our trip would not have been the same without Danny, from the start of the day to the very end, he kept our whole group of 8 engaged in conversation and gave us a ton of information on each different area that we visited. For reference, our group was made up of two families, including two sets of parents and four teenagers - and we all loved it! Thank you Danny for an amazing day - we would all highly recommend this tour.

AMAZING Day in the National Park!
This was one the highlights of our 10 day trip to Portugal! Teresa was so much fun, extremely knowledgeable and ran a fabulous day trip! We saw a few different water falls, ate a great lunch in a very small village in the mountains of the national park. This trip would not have been the same without Teresa! Our group was also so great and we even made a friend that ended up coming on a tour with us the next day and for drinks in Porto! Cannot recommend this day more if you are looking for a unique experience that you might not otherwise get to do. We got back a little later than expected around 20:00 (8pm) but we loved every minute of the trip. You should bring a bathingsuit for optional swimming in the waterfalls because even though the water was cold, (it was still early in the season) it was well worth it and a once in a lifetime experience.

Great Driver and Beautiful Location
We took a trip to the Douro Valley in April 2026. Our tour guide/van driver was great (I forgot his name). It takes about 2 hours to get to the first winery, but he would provide info along the way and did a preliminary stop before the first winery (to break up the trip). The views of the Douro are really amazing. After the first winery we took a 1-hour boat trip on the river (whi cc h is lovely). Then we proceeded to another winery for lunch and a tasting. We ended the day in a small town (to break up the long journey back to Porto). We had both English and French speaking passengers, and our tour/van driver effortlessly communicated with everyone (such a talent). Our only complaint was the first winery was very stingy with the wine pours, and didn't really talk about their wines or the property (I expected to hear more about the vineyard and wine-making process). Instead they spent 20 minutes taking us through the process they used to make olive oil. The second winery was great, and the winery host did a terrific job talking about their ports. Overall, it was a delightful day.

Step outside Porto for the day!
Such a great tour with Bruno learning about the history of the area, seeing things outside of the city of Porto, and learning about the culture from another view. It was nice to have a little break during the tour to see some of the shops and grab a snack.

Ringed by UNESCO-listed rivers, valleys, vineyards, and beaches, Porto is the gateway to some of Northern Portugal’s most sought-after natural sights. Guided Porto day trips reveal lesser-known parts of Portugal—including far-flung villages and towns home to medieval monasteries, Baroque churches, and quaint waterways—and allow you to indulge in the region's world-famous wine without worrying about driving afterward. Plus, Porto’s close proximity to the Spanish border means you can even visit an entirely different country without having to learn the ins and outs of its transit system.
