Loved!!
We had a great time on our tour! Our guide from Wine & Hop Tours (I’m drawing a blank on his name - Durk?) was friendly & very informative! He kept us up-to-date on our itinerary throughout the day, as well as shared his knowledge about the nature & wildlife. We started at Puffing Billy, an hour long train ride, which was fun & the scenery was gorgeous! We had time for food (if you wanted) & to explore the nature around Emerald Lake. After, we had a bit of a drive to Phillip Island where we stopped for DELICIOUS fish & chips. We recommend Nat’s!! Next we headed to the Nobbies - absolutely stunning scenery as the sun was getting ready to set on the horizon. On our drive to the Penguin Parade we saw many geese with their chicks, black swans, & wallabies! We got to witness quite a few penguins waddling up the beach, as well as penguins in the sand dunes making their way into their burrows after sunset at the Parade - what a privilege! Overall a long, but incredible day exploring some nature & wildlife in VIC. I definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful day experiencing and enjoying the breathtaking Great Ocean Road! The scenery was absolutely stunning, and the whole trip was well organised and enjoyable from start to finish. A special thank you to our tour guide, Kevin, who was fantastic throughout the day. He was friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining, and shared lots of interesting information along the way. He made sure everyone was comfortable and helped make the whole experience even more memorable. We had such a great time and would highly recommend Go West Tours to anyone wanting to explore the Great Ocean Road. A fantastic experience and definitely one of the highlights of our Melbourne trip!

A Scenic and Enjoyable Philip Island Experience
We had a very enjoyable full-day Phillip Island tour with our guide and driver, Elliot, who was warm, friendly and professional throughout the day. He explained each place clearly, gave us useful highlights about what to expect, and managed the timing of the entire tour very well. His guidance helped make the overall experience relaxed and enjoyable. The Nobbies was one of the highlights for us -absolutely beautiful and very scenic, with amazing coastal views. We also enjoyed the wildlife sanctuary and seeing plenty of wallabies and other Australian wildlife. Phillip Island itself is stunning and gives you another completely different experience of Victoria. The Penguin Parade was interesting, although the experience can depend a lot on where you are seated and where the penguins decide to come ashore. There is quite a bit of waiting, and being in the right place at the right time makes a difference. We were fortunate to see a group of penguins marching together, although they appeared on a darker side where there was very little lighting. Some audience areas seemed to have only two or three penguins passing by, so there is definitely an element of luck involved. Overall, it was a very positive and memorable experience. The scenery, wildlife and beauty of Phillip Island make the trip worthwhile, and Elliot did an excellent job as both guide and driver. His friendliness, explanations and good time management contributed greatly to an enjoyable day. Definitely a tour worth experiencing when visiting Melbourne!

An Unforgettable Great Ocean Road Experience- Luke was Fantastic!
What an absolutely amazing day! The Great Ocean Road and 12 Apostles tour is one experience you simply should not miss when visiting Melbourne. The scenery throughout the journey is breathtaking - at times it genuinely feels like heaven on earth. A huge part of what made the tour so memorable was our guide and driver, Luke. What a fantastic guy! He was driving, guiding, sharing interesting information, keeping everyone engaged, cracking jokes with his great Aussie humour, playing energetic music and even singing along! His ability to multitask while keeping the whole group entertained was impressive. He was proactive, friendly and full of energy, and made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the experience. There was never a dull moment with Luke! A particularly nice touch was our first stop for coffee, hot beverages and light refreshments before continuing the long journey. It was a cold morning, so being able to enjoy something warm along with the refreshments was very welcome and a thoughtful gesture that we really appreciated. The stops along the Great Ocean Road were spectacular. We especially enjoyed exploring Apollo Bay, spending time around the beautiful beach and enjoying the local Aussie food and atmosphere. Another highlight for us was the optional helicopter ride over the 12 Apostles, available at an additional cost. We chose to do it and really enjoyed the experience. Seeing the magnificent coastline and rock formations from the air gave us a completely different perspective and made an already spectacular day even more memorable. Overall, this was an excellent, high-energy, scenic and thoroughly entertaining tour. Everything was well organised and well explained, and Luke’s personality, humour and enthusiasm really brought the whole experience to life. If you’re visiting Melbourne and considering the Great Ocean Road and 12 Apostles tour, don’t miss it! And if Luke is your guide, you’re in for a fantastic and entertaining day. Highly recommended! 🇦🇺👏
