What are people saying about Uluru

Excellent and easy walk around the Uluru base
Our guide Flo was excellent and informative. She led us on a sunrise walk around the base of Uluru, with plenty of time to take unforgettable photos. We received some snacks and drinks to take with us, plenty for the 3 hour walk. We also had time to visit the cultural centre.
Company communication could be better. It was difficult to reach the office by phone despite the request to reconfirm 24 hours in advance. They could do with having WhatsApp like all of the other companies I used during this trip. Even my hotel said it wasn’t easy to reach the office.

Dave and Jessie was so kind and caring. Taking care of all of us. The tour was amazing. I wasn’t a morning person and too excited to fall asleep the night before. I was worrying too intense of the walk. But I was spot on. Challenging enough but I also feel very safe with both guide leading and wrapping up.

Absolutely Incredible - A must to do it
Seeing the breathtaking views of Uluru and Kata Tjuta from the air was an emotional and unforgettable experience. The flight was truly fantastic and I felt completely safe the entire time. A huge thank you to our pilot, who was not only incredibly kind and professional but made the whole journey feel special. The service was top-notch—don't miss this!

Highly recommend. You will Not be disappointed
Wonderful experience. The colours and the scenery just spectacular. Our guide, Mimi was knowledgeable and very engaging. She even became personal photographer to the group, ensuring we captured beautiful images.
Breakfast was lovely and well- earned after the sunrise viewing and short hike into Walpa Gorge.
Highly recommend. The small group made it even more specials.
Rug up though - it was 4 degrees!

Amazing day out
Had a lovely day at Kings Canyon. Early start but Michael and Michelle were lovely and friendly even at that hour of the day.
To add some adventure the bus did break down around 25 mins drive from Kings Canyon. Looked like that was the rim walk gone, but teamwork kicked in and a couple of stops to keep filling water in the coolant, we literally rolled into our parking bay.
From there Michelle guided us through the walk which is not for the faint hearted, but well worth the effort. Everyone was supported and kept on track and time. Views were amazing.
There was an alternative option for those who felt it was too much and the two options were very well explained.
A stop for lunch and a couple of stops on the long journey back completed the day.
Employees like these two who go above and beyond when we could have just parked up and waited for a replacement should be commended.

Amazing Experience!
Absolutely loved this tour. We did our research and made sure that we were in a tent (which included a bath towel, bed linens, solid beds and a small table), not a ‘swag’ that you have to set up every night and tear down every morning. Half of our group were not aware of this and definitely were not prepared for this experience. Lisa, our tour guide was amazing. She was very informative and accommodating for our requests which were not many. The food was good and the staff very friendly. We arrived in Yulara on 23 March 2026, just after the heavy six weeks of rain. It wasn’t as dry as expected, it was hotter than the surface of the sun and thousands of flies(like our houseflies only smaller)invaded and covered our bodies. Do Not Forget a Fly Net to cover your head. It was our lifesaver! It was a 4 hour drive from Alice Springs and when we arrived to the campsite in Yulara lunch was ready for us. Then we headed to Kata Tjuṯa. The landscape of Kata Tjuta was beautiful but this tour is scheduled for mid afternoon so it’s at the highest temperature of the day. After that we drove to Uluru to watch the sunset. Lisa had snacks and drinks set out for us but we had so many flies wanting to feast too that we had to grab and go quickly. That night, steaks were on the menu. There was always plenty of food during this tour. The next morning we walked the base of Uluru just before sunrise. Beautiful!!! Every morning is an extremely early morning so be prepared to pack up your bedding, even if you have a tent, ready to leave after Uluru and an early lunch to head to Kings Creek. A 3 hour drive to Kings Creek, prep veggies for dinner, set up camp and then a walk to the pub to enjoy the air conditioning and a beer is on the schedule. Then a quick sunset walk before dinner and an early night for another very early morning to Kings Canyon. The Kings Canyon Rim walk is absolutely stunning and a must do!! Absolutely Amazing!! This whole tour was an amazing experience!

Well worth it
This is a great tour to do. Andy & Celia were great guides and very knowledgeable.
You get served a light breakfast which consisted of muesli, cornflakes, banana bread, fruit pots, juice, tea and coffee.
After watching the sunrise you have a short walk to the only watering hole then a bus tour around the rock.

Uluru sacred sites and BBQ 08/03/26
A wonderful afternoon and evening from start to finish. Very well organised, excellent guides (Kevin and Hayley) who both gave very good commentary and information. The walks at the base of Uluru were a great experience. The sunset was fabulous with very generous tasty nibbles and a glass of fizz. We then thoroughly enjoyed the optional, fine-dining, truly delicious BBQ and wine under the stars, followed by a fascinating astronomy talk from Neil.
Don't miss it!

Wonderful tour, memorable experience
My husband and I had a wonderful day at Uluru with our tireless driver, Andy and knowledgeable tour guide, Yad. My husband celebrated his 80th birthday with a sunset barbecue at Uluru, a truly memorable experience, made even more memorable by the staff of Emu, who went out of their way to help me surprise him. Special thanks to Krisna and her manager at Emu., who were truly extraordinary.
Our driver, Andy drove over four hours from Alice Springs to Uluru and then another more than four hours back at night. Yad, our tour guide, provided interesting and beautifully balanced commentary on the cultural significance for the Pitjantjatjara people, as well as the geological explanation for the existence of Uluru.
Oh, and the barbecue with bubbly provided just the right finish for the day.
P.S. A netting helmet is a must, as the flies (of the non-biting kind) constantly buzzed around our heads as we toured the beautiful Uluru Rock. But this was a small price to pay for visiting this iconic site.

Dont miss this one!
The whole tour was wonderful from start to finish. The tour guide Carolyn was fantastic and so knowledgeable. Got picked up at 4:15 am and headed out for the short ride. Was able to walk down to the display to see if up close. Just fascinating and do much color. We came back up to the viewing area for coffee/hot chocolate and a biscuit and sat and watched the sunrise. One of our best tours of the trip! Back at the resort by 6:30am!

Fun way to experience Uluru
Fun way to experience Uluru. Nick and Cy taught our group how to ride our Segways, which provided a cool way to travel around the rock and see it close up. Nick shared history and other interesting info about the rock and the people of Uluru. Note that the weather is very warm during January with lots of flies. Buy head nets at the town square market to avoid being attacked by flies!!

This tour provided an excellent opportunity to see Kata Tjuta up close. It only went to one site for walking and it's a bit of a climb on uneven ground. If your able, it is worth the walk, and the tour guide was excellent providing lots of background and pointing out things to see.
