Amazing Morning! After dodging potential storms we got the word at 4am we were a go. From the moment we arrived, helping with the launch, the team safety, everything was very professional. Then we took off. It was amazing. Patio, our pilot showed us two sunrises and one sunset with the altitude of the balloon. Sunrise was beautiful! Can’t say enough. Then came the landing- smooth as can be. Packing went fast and then back for a great buffet breakfast. Every morning should be like this. Thanks Pato and team!!

One of those moments, short but remembered for the rest of my life. It was a good decision to stay at the hotel where the group met. Otherwise it could be too hurried to be there by 5.30am.

It is an amazing morning. Despite having to get really early it’s worth it. The views from the top are incredible— you won’t believe them and you go really high.

Jake piloted a lovely ride over Yarra Valley and kept us informed about what we could see along the way. He also made sure we got some variety: we saw the sun on a cloudy morning, inside a cloud, and 360° views of the farmland below. The experience, including set up, packing away, buffet breakfast, and the transfer with Raine and Mark(?), was worth it for a fun start to my day.

It was amazing to view the valley below and see kangaroos! The weather was perfect and seeing the other balloons in the sky was picture perfect. Everything, including the pick up assistants, the staff, balloon operator, and then breakfast was everything and more that was described.

My husband and I booked this during our vacation and it was definitely a highlight of our trip!! It was a very early wake up time so may be best to book this at the beginning of your traveling due to jet lag and you will probably wake up early anyways. The staff were very friendly (even when it was super early) and made it an enjoyable experience. The balloon flight had incredible views and was so magical at sunrise. We booked the breakfast option and it was so delicious!!

Superb view, superb weather. The scenery was excellent! The team was very professional in setting up and organising the group. Our pilot Jacob brought us up and down the skies a few times to enjoy the clouds and sunrise. Everything was superb!

This trip was great! The staff was excellent preparing and explaining everything to us before and during the flight. The views are breathtaking and they even have a gopro taking pix of you during the flight which was nice. Steve was an outstanding pilot making sure we learned about ballooning and that we enjoyed ourselves. The 3am start time was a little rough but that’s a small price to pay for this adventure. You get to help a little with preparing for the flight and packing up afterwards which was actually fun. I recommend the buffet breakfast at Balgownie Estates afterwards - the food was tasty though after being up for 5 hours, we were hungry! Definitely recommend this trip even if you’re not keen on heights (like us).

I was traveling alone, and was very worried in the first place. The staff were very helpful. I missed the pickup and transfer option when I did the booking, and the staff was very thoughtful and was in comm with me about the transportation. I was able to be picked up, and travel with the rest of the passengers.The trip and views from the hot balloon were therapeutic! I really enjoyed it. It's really worth it!

It was frigid! But it was magical. Almost felt like I was in a fairy tail flying over scenery like that. The fresh morning fog hanging low along the farmland. The wild foxes and kangaroo trekking through their natural habitat. Plus the staff and pilots were so kind and amazing at their job. Would definitely rebook!

Amazing way to kick start a new day. Awesome views. An once in a lifetime experience. However, the landing was too bumpy and uncomfortable for me.
Spotted some kangaroos fighting in the grassland while waiting to go up the basket. Quite chilly in the yarra valley especially when the wind blows. The kids had fun helping to fold the balloon after the flight. Ended the flight with a hearty hot meal at the Balgownie before the long drive back to the hotel.

I would give it a 6-stars review if I could. Initially we were informed by operator that the activity was canceled due to bad weather, but we were allowed to re-schedule to following day. And the activity was great, from pickup to flight & buffet breakfast & return transfer. Appreciated the operator team crew, everyone worked well to let all of us have an enjoyable time.
