Our guide was incredible...

Our guide was incredible understanding and patient when we ended up missing our pickup time and was quickly able to find an alternate spot to pick up quickly yo minimize lost time. He also chose to extend the tour longer out of the interest of the group to ensure that we got the chance to see Kangaroos and get the most out of experience the tour offered. I would totally recommend the tour to anyone!

This full day trip is soooo worth it we enjoyed it we weren’t ever rushed and well looked after by Steve - highly recommend 3 beautiful wineries all very different and incredible food at st Hubert’s and the chocolate tasting was so much fun even had time to explore and shop !! Quick overview of Phillip...

Quick overview of Phillip Island. We stopped at the Moonlight sanctuary on the way there where we could see a bunch of Australian animals. I'm not a big fan of zoos but I enjoyed this visit. I also loved the Nobbies, where we could see some penguins in their burrows. Very cute! And then the reason of the trip: the penguin parade! At this time of the year they don't come in thousands but in hundreds. Yet it was a thrilling experience to see them emerge from the water and group before marching. I just wish we could have had an extra hour or so to spend 30 mins more in the sanctuary and at the Nobbies.

No whining here

We had a great day on this tour. Everything was very well organised, and Matt was an excellent guide and driver. He was friendly, informative, and engaging throughout the trip. There were enough breaks and toilet stops, which were clearly communicated in advance. Matt also went above and beyond to help guests spot wildlife and get good photos of the animals and penguins at Phillip Island. Although it was a long day, the tour was relaxed, comfortable, and well paced from start to finish. We would definitely recommend this tour!

Simply stunning

Excellent tourguide Steve and very knowledgable about the coast and surrounds. We would have loved to do the rainforest and Apostles itself a bit longer of a stop and get back a bit later. However Steve insisted we made sure we saw everything on the tour so very thankful for that. Even seeing koalas in their natural habitat was great. But overall fantastic!

Our tour was absolutely incredible! It was such a wonderful experience to see the Australian wildlife up close at Healesville Sanctuary; seeing the koalas and kangaroos was a real highlight. The historic Puffing Billy steam train ride offered truly amazing, scenic views. Highly recommended!

Very nice experience :)

Our guide Matt was very knowledgeable and accommodated to everyone’s vibes- if you wanted to chat you could, but you could also relax in silence which was nice. He also communicated very clearly about the schedule and places we were going, and he still gave us an hour to explore after the Puffing Billy even though the boarding was delayed. Matt also got some really nice videos of the group on the train, so that was a very nice bonus and showed real professional care. The experience on the Puffing Billy was probably the highlight of our trip, the views were very pretty and the experience was unique. I would recommend having some wriggle time for any plans you might make after the guide, as in our experience, the Puffing Billy was almost an hour delayed due to a safety concern, although typically you wouldn’t have to wait that long. The staff at the Puffing Billy communicated very clearly and were very polite.

I had a wonderful experience on the Puffing Billy Railway tour with Cloe. Everything was exceptionally well organized—the tour started right on time, and the bus that picked us up from the city was clean and comfortable. Cloe truly made the experience stand out. She was not only a skilled driver but also an engaging and knowledgeable guide, keeping everyone entertained along the way. Her energy and warmth added a special touch to the trip. The one-hour train ride was absolutely delightful, taking us through beautiful eucalyptus forests, charming local villages, and the rolling hills on the outskirts of Melbourne. The scenery was peaceful and picturesque—exactly what you hope for on a heritage train journey. Overall, it was a fun and memorable experience, especially for families with kids.
