Great way to hit pubs/bars/etc you would most likely never find by yourself (or ever). More of a really, really nice bar crawl than a history/sightseeing tour, but exactly up my alley. Great guide in Hugo & really lucky to have had great people I met on the tour, especially since there was only 4 of us.

Simon was so thorough and well versed in many of the cocktails and locations we visited. Well done. Abit dissapointing to hear a drink which read was included in my ticket last week, changed and was no longer. So quite pricey for what I paid on top of drinks otherwise. For a first timer in Melbourne, this tour was great if you like to find cool and unique places to have nice drinks and maybe some food too. Simon our guide was very knowledgeable of the places we visited and provided some local history along the way. The small group was perfect too.

Great short little experience on this tour. Got to see a little piece of Melbourne and understand how Laneway Bars came into existence. Hugo was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable and gave us lots of options for dinner and bars after the tour was over as well.

This tour was so much fun! Ian was such an excellent host, he knew so much about Melbourne and all the amazing history and trendy places to drink. There was something for everyone as the places we visited catered to many different tastes, people were able to get a beer or something more daring and fancy like a cocktail. We purchased the drinks upon booking and it was excellent value and I recommend doing this as it meant we had an excellent drink at every venue. Every place we visited was unique and had amazing cocktails on offer, these were places we definitely wouldn’t have found or visited on our own. Ian was so friendly and made time to get to know everyone on the tour, find out what brought them to Melbourne and what their interested in and then offered information that catered to their interests. We left the tour tipsy and full of other suggestions of places to visit. My only advice is make sure you wear suitable shoes as there is a fair bit of walking and it’s not a slow leisurely stroll, you need to keep up! This tour is definitely something I recommend if you want to explore Melbourne and discover some great bars!

What a fantastic way to get shown some amazing places. We had a great afternoon being guided by a very knowledgeable host to some really cool places. Places we probably wouldn't have ventured into or found had we not been on this tour. Great tour. First we had a really good group of people. 11 in total. Visited 4 very different bars spread across CBD. All with a story & all ones you probably wouldn’t find or look for apart from this tour. Guide had good knowledge of bars & looked after us well. Cocktails were great - but if you are not a cocktail lover, plenty of beer, gin & scotch options at every venue. Highly recommend.
