Exceptional trip and a lifetime of memory
Lord of the Rings was too long ago, can't really remember the storyline. But our tour with you to the movie set won't be forgotten anytime soon. Thank you for a good time Dave, who is super informative and genuinely knowledgeable in what he is sharing. You made the difference! We are lucky to be guided by a fan of The Hobbit when it's time to tour the ground of Hobbiton; Rob who lead us along 'the Middle Earth' and let us oohh enjoying "a morning to be good on".

Hobbit Trip
We took a ride from our hotel to the Hobbit movie set, and our driver Trent even provided us with the tickets, which made everything super easy. The highlight of the trip was definitely the music he played during the ride—it really set the mood—and all the interesting information he shared about New Zealand along the way. The set itself was magical and well worth the visit, but the journey there made it even more memorable.

Mesmerising! Excellent guides
This tour was absolutely fantastic! Aaron and Shane were our 2 guides for the day and they were both brilliant! They were so friendly and knowledgeable and shared so much interesting information with the group. The journey to Waitomo and back from Auckland was long, but certainly not boring. There were comfort breaks along the way and Aaron pointed out lots of landmarks. The other guests on the tour were also great to chat to. The caves themselves were spectacular! The glowworms absolutely covered the ceiling and walls of the cave. It was like being in Avatar world. The short boat ride was mesmerising and Shane was more than happy to take and share photos. I also loved that there was a section where photography was not allowed, as this really made the group fully immerse themselves and appreciate the nature and amazing surroundings. The second cave was also super interesting with some incredible formations. Overall a fantastic day out. I recommend the tour to anyone who doesn't have a car and is based in Auckland, who wants to experience something truly beautiful and unique

First of all, naming...
First of all, naming names, a huge shoutout to the entire team, i especially had a great time getting to chat with Sana about the marine wildlife, and was able to get a good picture about the diving scene in North island, Sana was extremely knowledgeable about the best spots to go in North island for diving, and i enjoyed our interactions discussing the impact of Urchin barrens, and their impact on marine ecosystems in both Australia and New Zealand. Throughout the rest of the trip, Kayla was great at pointing out and discussing the wildlife we saw during the tour, but always knew when to just let the tour group enjoy the moment, never over-explaining or adding unnecessary commentary just to fill silence. Overall the entire experience was nothing short of breath taking, it was a privilege to be able to get so close to such beautiful wildlife, and me and my partner walked away with a commitment to be more aware of how we wash our clothes, or what we consume after being educated during an after-tour presentation on the environmental impacts of current typical societal behaviours. Safe to say we won't be using single-use plastics anytime soon. Thanks again team for the tour, the next time we come back to NZ, we'll be doing some Diving.

With its sparkling harbors, soaring skyline, and active hiking trails, Auckland (or Tāmaki Makaurau) is a city made for adventure. Many Auckland tours take you to popular destinations around the North Island, such as the Hobbiton Movie Set, Kumeu Wine Country, and Waitomo Caves. But stick around, and you’ll find that there’s plenty to do in the city itself, from food tours and the Sky Tower to sea kayaking and Waitemata Harbour cruises.
