Hole in the Island a Highlight

The staff were very friendly - great communication very email and messaging, in person they were friendly and helpful and the crew on the boat were fantastic pointing on wildlife and other features on the Bay of Islands. Unfortunately we did not see Whales or Dolphins but we did see Fur Seals and numerous birds. And then the absolute highlight the Hole in the Island - it was stunning to see in person and because the water was not rough we actually went thru the Hole and it was absolutely AMAZING. This was definitely a highlight of my whole New Zealand trip. The Meal was very good and to walk around on the islands was a bonus - some of our group went swimming in the calm Crystal clear and refreshing water while we did a hike amongst hundreds (if not thousands) of years old forests. Stunning!!!!

Excellent Hole in the Rock Tour!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour to the hole in the rock. Adam was an excellent tour guide and gave us all kinds of information throughout the entire tour. The stop at Robertson Island had some breathtaking scenery, and the hole in the rock was amazing. We enjoyed a pod of 18 to 20 dolphins at play and saw some other wildlife, including a unique bird. We would highly recommend this tour.

Great Crew and Fantastic Scenery

This was an excellent excursion. Blair and Blue were wonderful. They were informative, friendly and extremely knowledgable. The scenery was amazing. The pier was easy to find and Blair stayed on schedule. They both did a great job. I highly recommend this tour.

Exhilarating half day

Very exhilarating especially as we were able to go through the hole in the rock on the boat . A very varied 4 and a half hours , sailing through the bay visiting 2 islands , one with a fantastic view of the bay , and of course out in open sea to visit the hole . Hamish the skipper was very informative, and amusing in his commentary and the other members of the crew , were very welcoming, and ready to assist as well as also providing information, maps etc . Very good value for the cost

Fantastic Bay of Island Tour Experience.

Cass and BlueBell were amazing guides throughout our Bay of Islands cruise. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely engaging, involving us in conversation and making the experience feel personal and enjoyable. The highlight was seeing orcas in the wild while they were actively hunting, an incredible experience that we will not forget. Cass and Blue Bell did a fantastic job helping us understand and appreciate what we were witnessing. Professional, welcoming, and passionate guides. Best way to see the Cape

It is a long day, and the beach section has been shortened and now misses the large sand dunes but overall a relaxing experience and better than driving up to the Cape yourself. We had George as our driver/guide and he was excellent. Great sense of humour and made the day for his "Bus Family"

Great experience, go for it

Great service. The cruise was well equipped and the staff was very attentive and helpful. The waters were a little chilly that day and the staff was really on their feet with the service and helping passengers with vomit bags and stuff. The commentary was good as well

We were wondering how an 82 and 79 year old could be accommodated but we had the great assistance of Ben and crew. The weather was perfect and it took all the rest of the day to relax the smiles on our faces. Of all the choices we had that sunny day we picked the best. There is not a negative word to be said. A must do activity if you’re a thrill seeker

This was one of our top 5 favorite activities during our 3 week trip to New Zealand. Definitely for the thrill seekers. Loved the music and we even got lucky with a dolphin pod who followed us! Really fun and with it! When looking at all the other boats around I kept thinking we were on the best boat for a thrilling sightseeing adventure

Top notch service

On time pick-up at the cruise docking with a wonderful and hospitable guide driver ?William to drop-off. Gave a great drive with history of Maori culture and even invited us to come stay with him to get a true immersive experience. The team at the cave site were also great. There was a short stint through the bush as an alternative exit from the cave that added a challenge for "moderate level" adventurers. Then off to the waterfall for a picturesque and relaxing taste of nature's beauty. Wish I more time than the short cruise docking to explore more!
