What are people saying about Valencia

Loved this experience!
It was great to go to the market and learn about the ingredients we used in the paella. There was more walking than I expected and I got a little tired walking from the market to the cooking site. Or cook/chef was so good! I can’t remember her name but she was excellent!!

Great experience
We had such a wonderful time on our food tour (we chose the 6:30 p.m. tour) and learned so much from Anaïs! She had even shared her bio with us ahead of time, which was a lovely touch and helped us get to know our guide before the tour began. The pace was perfect, and all four tasting stops were fantastic, each offering something special. Toward the end of the tour, she shared recommendations for places to visit and eat. What really stood out was Anaïs’s kindness and thoughtfulness. She went above and beyond at the end of the tour to help us find our Uber pickup spot, which we truly appreciated. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a more enjoyable experience!

Superb experience (6 stars and rising)
This tour was an amazing experience from beginning to end. Bogi, our guide, gave us an enthusiastic and embracing picture of the magnificent old town of Valencia. The pace was perfect, relaxing and so much fun followed by delicious, expertly cooked tapas and local wines served in a beautiful ancient monument. I would highly recommend this experience.

Wonderful experience
Really fun experience! The whole team was great, very welcoming. Instructions were clear, the paella turned out perfectly. They did a great job of providing bites and cava throughout. The only thing to know is if you do the later 6pm class, you won’t go to the market as noted in the title. But well worth an evening! Thanks to Pau and team!

There’s no end to the fun with Valencia tours. The birthplace of paella has much more to offer than just the famous seafood-and-rice dish—though you should definitely try making it yourself while you’re in town. Visit the hot springs of Montanejos, the fairy tale town of Peñíscola, or row a boat through Albufera National Park. Or simply soak up the vibe of the city on a guided walk or tuk-tuk ride that highlights centuries of history.
