This was our favorite experience in Valencia! Chefs David & Victor were friendly, entertaining, informative and very helpful. We enjoyed cooking & eating our paella, and the accompanying tapas and wine tasting was lovely. I highly recommend this!

This was an amazing experience and we would definitely recommend it! We toured there old part of the city, visited the central market, then got to the cooking workshop. As two people with very different cooking skill-levels, this was a fun and interesting experience for us both. If you sign up for this, you're bound to have a great time!

Wonderful experience! Chef Daniel was informative and patient, shopping at the central market then we went to a beautiful private restaurant space to sip wine and have small bites. Then we cooked and had more small bites with more wine, then everyone sat to eat the paellas we had made. Highly recommend!

Very good cooking experience with Juan - I was impressed with my paella - let’s hope I can replicate it at home!
Juan walked us around the Old Town (I know my way around now); unfortunately we couldn’t go into the central market as it was closed due to it being a national holiday.
We went to the paella school where Juan explained the process to us whilst Mimi served us wine and tapas
I was surprised that there is no onion nor garlic in the Valencian paella. We paired up and were talked through the process - I guess it took around 75 minutes to cook but our paella was very tasty.
The wines and tapas were lovely too.
A very enjoyable experience.

This is one of the best activities we’ve ever done on vacation! We only had two days in Valencia and we knew we wanted to learn how to make paella in the city where it was created. In this class we met people from all over the world, went to the beautiful market, had a wine tasting, and learned how to make paella, which we sat down and ate together after the paella was done. We learned so much on the tour Megan gave us on the way to the market, which was an unexpected surprise. Megan is super energetic, informative and fun, a wonderful teacher, tour guide and paella instructor! Julia was the wine expert who also served Spanish appetizers while we cooked our paella, she was also super informative. I highly recommend this activity if you are traveling to Valencia. 10/10, 5 stars!

We met our guide Daniel in a beautiful place and then walked toward the market. He told us about the city and its history as we were walking in the market. We went shopping for fresh vegetables for our paella. The cooking experience was fantastic. We also tasted four different wines during our experience.

We booked this for our first day in Valencia and we’re so happy that we did! We learned a little bit about the history of the city while we walked towards the market where we purchased fresh ingredients to include in our paella. Reyes was a wonderful teacher, explaining all the step while an eye on everybody’s dish at the same time. Michelle kept bringing us little tapas and more wine! The two of them made a great team. It was so much fun to cook and eat a meal with people from all over the world!

Had an amazing class with Victor! It’s obvious he is so passionate about his birthplace and of all things including the culinary history. He took time to explain and answer all questions. The paella and tapas were all fantastic and enjoyed the wine tastings as well. Definitely a wonderful class to take and a wonderful opportunity to take a piece of your trip home and make again! Daniel and Julia were great hosts! We started with a walking tour of the city, and Daniel was a very knowledgeable guide. Great sense of humor and made us feel very welcome. Then a quick stop at Central market to pick up ingredients and then finally to their beautiful space where cava and snacks were waiting. We made different paellas, depending on our preference and they all were incredibly delicious. Julia continued to serve different wines and appetizers throughout the experience and then we shared out Paellas. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Spain!

This was fun and delicious! We met with Louis and traveled to the market learning more about the city as we walked. He taught us about the history of the Market and how to shop there. Then we walked to a friendly and fun place to make the paella and get to know one another better. The Cava, wine and cheeses were delicious. Making the paella was fun and educational. Enjoying our final product was the best. I would highly recommend this adventure to others.

We almost never sign up for group tours or other touristy activities, but this was, in all honesty, one of the funnest experiences we had in our lives!!! Our teenager kids had a blast and cooked a much better paella than ours, and we all learned so much!

This was a very fun and informative class! It was a holiday, so Central Market wasn’t open but Juan gave us a tour of the area instead and pointed out some iconic restaurants on our way to the classroom. He was a great teacher, giving us many tips about the products and process. His assistant, Sofia, shared information about the delicious wines and tapas that were served throughout the class. At the end we got to eat our fabulous paella and chat with our interesting classmates. I can’t wait to try making it at home! I definitely recommend this class to have an authentic Valencian experience!

If you want to learn how to make authentic paella, take this class, I did it with Seafood, but you might want to try the original which is chicken and rabbit.

Great experience. So informative. Completely hands on. You make your own paella from scratch, with the chef pointing out common mistakes and how to avoid them as you go. Small group so easy to ask questions and for the chef to get around to everyone. Lovely community setting to eat all together afterwards with wine flowing.

Reyes is fantastic! She is friendly, knowledgeable, and made an effort to get to know each us personally. I loved how she explained everything in so much detail so that we not only cooked our paella, but understood the importance of each step. The paella turned out tasting delicious.
I also really appreciated and enjoyed how much interesting information Reyes gave us as we walked through the area to the market place. She then gave us a lot of information about the market and about the final ingredients she needed to purchase for the paella.
Overall, Reyes made this event so much fun. This was the highlight of my trip to Spain.
