Triad Tour

Great combination seeing sites by foot, cable car and river boat. We enjoyed the tour from different perspectives for taking the perfect photos, while getting an overview of the history of Porto. Pedro was an excellent...

Pedro was an excellent tour guide and driver. He grew up in Porto area and his grandfather had a vineyard so he was a wealth of knowledge. 8 people in our comfortable van plus Pedro. We stopped in a small interesting town for a coffee/bathroom break before heading to our vineyard visit. After this we went on a boat tour. You will be on a public boat for this part of the tour. Scenic views of the Douro valley for about 45 minutes. Final stop was lunch at a vineyard home which was located in a pretty big town. Nice lunch of either codfish rice or roasted chicken in a private room within the house. Lunch includes their wine. Separate port tasting after lunch in another part of their facility. At certain parts of this tour you will be joined by other vans from same company.

Leandro was an amazing guide

I was traveling by myself, and was not familiar with Porto. Leandro was an amazing guide. he was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He gave me lots of great tips on getting around Porto, things not to miss, and after the tour, followed up with a message regarding places that he recommended to see and to go to eat. He was able to answer all my cultural and historical questions. He took me to great photo spots and was patient with me asking him to take pictures of me at all of them. It was truly a pleasure touring with him.

Fabulous trip from Porto to Lisboa stopping at Aveira, Nazare and Obidos in the way. Our driver/ guide Antonio provided the history of each city and ensured we met locals and had fun at every turn. Antonio (Tommy) is an accomplished guitar player and musician and we were blessed to hare his music during the drive. Absolutely the best tour ever.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Jaime and the captain. The yacht was nice, comfortable, and incredibly well prepared for a relaxing ride along the Douro. The views of Porto and its iconic bridges from the water were simply breathtaking, especially during sunset. Jaime and the captain made the entire experience feel effortless and special, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the trip. The thoughtful touches really stood out: cozy blankets, a great selection of wines, and a delicious cheese board that made the cruise even more enjoyable. It was the perfect ending to our first -but not last- time in Porto.

A must do if you want to sample the best of the food and drink on offer in Porto. You won't be disappointed by the quality or quantity of the offerings. Do early on in your trip - you may just find something you wouldn't have tried previously is now something you have to keep buying.

We had a really good time on the boat. Our captain Marcello was very good explaining the history of Porto. We enjoyed the wine too. Unfortunately there was a lot of clouds so no sunset but that was ok. We’re very happy we did the cruise. I would recommend it to friends if I had any.

Fantastic way to get a...

Fantastic way to get a sense of the Douro Valley’s beauty, history and wineries in a “half day” experience (which really felt like a full day value with well over six hours included). This “wine valley” experience was a great way to involve our kids as well, with a tour of the old olive oil production facility and tastings that included olive oil, honey and almonds. The wine at d’origem was also delicious, with four different tastings for the afternoon. Our guide Alex was knowledgeable and kind and offered us fascinating history throughout the day about towns in the valley, the growing and wine-making process and types, and the natural landscape. Lunch at a delicious local restaurant and incredible views of the terraced hills and valleys the entire day made this one of our absolute favorite days in Portugal!
