This is a perfect way to get to know Stockholm. The trip is short enough to keep your interest but long enough to make it worthwhile. Gamla Stan was our favorite part of Stockholm so finding out “horrific secrets” was especially fun. Chris was an excellent guide. He was fun and informative and handsome with his ginger beard! Highly recommend this activity!

Interactive and so informative! I was worried about a 2.5hr tour while It was cold out. We kept moving and it actually went by rather quickly. I totally recommend this tour, we saw parts of Gamla Stan that we would never have found. I especially loved the stories behind the statues. Luve (sp?) was a wonderful guide!

I liked the length of the...

I liked the length of the tour. It was just enough to see the beautiful skyline of Stockholm, but also to travel travel further out from the city where you can enjoy greenery, open water and smaller islands. A suggestion was to sit on the left-hand side of the boat for slightly better views of interesting shoreline. In our favor, it was a beautiful day. It wouldn’t be as fun if it was rainy and windy.

Great way to get to know the city on Day 1!

Five stars. We had a rainy day in Stockholm, but it honestly didn’t matter — the tour was still so much fun. Willa was knowledgeable, easygoing, and had a wonderfully dry sense of humor that made the whole experience really enjoyable. He gave us a great introduction to the city, and it was the perfect thing to do soon after arriving because we got a feel for Stockholm without having to walk everywhere. One of my favorite touches was that he even took us to one of his favorite spots for fika, which made the tour feel much more personal. A really fun, relaxed, and informative way to see Stockholm. I’d absolutely recommend it.

What a beautiful cruise!...

What a beautiful cruise! Stunning views of the archipelago either up top with the wind in your hair or inside at a comfy café setting. The fika is a nice touch of course. A great way to kill 2 hours and see more than you might have otherwise. Kim was also super nice and funny while giving facts about the islands and some buildings as we passed by.

We read good reviews about him in the review section and quite lucky to have him as our guide in this walking tour. His name is August. He made our trip very informative and interesting. It is a must tour for first time visitors to know Swedish history and roam around central and old (Gamla Stan) Stockholm.

Highly recommended activity and company

Lights of Vikings is a smaller, family-owned company. The guides and other staff are awesome: super friendly, enthusiastic and good in communication. The activity itself (snowmobile) was so much fun. We loved every second of it. The guide took us on a beautiful trail with a little stop halfway to have a warm beverage and cookies. The snowmobiles were brand new and very comfortable to drive. An extra shout-out to Onur who promised us it would be fun and he was right: it was so much fun! Not only because of the activity but because he has a great personality and can make everyone enthusiastic about something. Great talent!
