Really interesting trip and great guide.

We really enjoyed our trip. It was an early start at 5.30 but this made sure we secured a good timed entry to the restricted zone and also we got monorail tickets down into the tunnels. The views of North Korea was impressive. The best bit of the trip was our guide Jong. She was an absolute delight and the highlight for us.

We enjoyed exploring Busan and visiting several of the city’s most popular attractions! From the beautiful seaside temple and colorful Gamcheon Culture Village to the scenic Sky Capsule, cable car, and suspension bridge, the excursion offered a great variety of experiences. Despite some rainy weather, it was a nice way to see the highlights of Busan in one day and our guide, Jake, took good care of us.

Check off the top Seoul “Must sees” in a day.

It’s a very long day with alot packed into one day. It was also a tough group to accommodate due to some physical challenges with some members. Felicity Jieun Jung did a very nice job taking care of everyone. It is a good way to get done some of the “must see” things in a new city and gives you an idea what to go back to on your own. Such as Insadong which requires several more hours of leisurely visit instead of a quick lunch. It was a very enjoyable day.

Jacob was a wonderful guide! We booked this tour on the first day we arrived so that we could get a full understanding of the cuisine in South Korea. And it was a great idea! Jacob took us around the market and introduced us to so many different dishes. You definitely need to go on an empty stomach as you don’t just get tasters, you’re asked if you want second helpings. Super easy and convenient. Our driver was waiting for us immediately after exiting the secured area of the airport. It was a long way from the airport to our hotel in Jongno and saved a lot of time and headache to transfer. The van was spacious and super clean and the driver was very professional.

Absolutely Worth It!!! Foreigner friendly

When I tell you this experience was a 10 out of 10…I mean it! Foreigner friendly I promise. Our tour guide Jake was the absolute best. So friendly and kind hearted. From the beginning to the end he was informative and communicated greatly. Took his time to ensure we had great photos and would offer to take them for us. Also answered any questions we had about the history of the city or general questions. There wasn’t one question Jake wasn’t able to answer. Unfortunately, during one of the walks I slightly rolled my ankle. Jake was so quick to assist me with finding the nearest convenience store. He helped to translate with the staff about my slight injury and they advised what I needed. Within 5 mins of me hurting my ankle I was all patched up. Jake bandaged my ankle with a cold patch and wrap and we were able to continue the tour. I had to move a lot slower to refrain from making my slight injury into a serious one. Jake would walk with me slowly and found me places to sit while he continued to explain to me the history of the sites we were visiting. I never felt rushed and I still got to experience the tour. I highly recommend this private tour to foreigners if your a bit nervous about exploring the city on your own. Jake was fluent in English and Korean which made it so much easier. Thanks again Jake for making this tour a memory that I will keep for a lifetime! ☺️
