What are people saying about Malaysia

Very good tour
Our driver Rin was in constant communication with us and picked us up on time. We were a small group only and the van was comfortable. Our tour guide Ramish was very good and explained the sites well. This tour visits several essential Kuala Lumpur sites such as Batu Caves, Merdeka Square, National Mosque, River of Life, Central Market & Chinatown, and in the end, we were dropped off at the Petronas Towers where we took more photos. It helps that the Petronas Towers is just a 15 minute walk to our hotel in KLCC. Overall, it was a good day and we were very satisfied with the service.

Fun at Getting Highlands
Our tour guide Gerald is full of energy and with a good sense of humor. We were picked up on time. We were a group of 22 people and we rode a comfortable bus. We visited Batu Caves and a store that sells coffee, tea, and snacks. It's about an hour to Genting Highlands but traffic was horrible and so we arrived past 13:00 already. We rode the Awana Skyway cable car to the top. Gerald gave clear instructions what to do until the final meeting time. We opted to just stay in the Skytropolis indoor theme park, at least we just paid for the rides that we actually availed, unlike in the Skyworld outdoor theme park where there are 26 rides covered by the single entry ticket price but due to limited time, you won't be able to ride most of them. We had lunch at Souled Out restaurant and the food was good. There was time to visit the premium outlets. We used the cable car again going down but we didn't drop by Chin Swee temple anymore. We were at the meeting place by 18:00, and we were back safely at KLCC by 19:10.

Great feel for the city.
Our driver was extremely knowledgeable. He was able to answer all of questions and gave comprehensive descriptions of all of our stops.
He also gave some great advice to help us enjoy our remaining days in KL.
He had great energy.
The route really suited us and we were able to maximise our time and enjoyment.

Nice private tour with lots of Kuala Lumpur history
We booked the private tour and Luis picked us up at our hotel promptly. It was nice having a private car to ourselves with the driver/guide. Luis told us about many historical facts about Kuala Lumpur and took us to all the great sites listed in the itinerary. We liked that we had time to ourselves at each stop and knowing that Luis and the air conditioned car was just a few steps away. He was there when we wanted photos of us at Batu Caves and that was appreciated. I recommend this tour and would book a similar private tour again. Thank you!

Amazing, delicious Nyonya Cooking Class!!
Probably our favourite thing we did in Penang! Definitely recommend as a way to try some great food and learn about Nyonya culture!
We did the morning Nyonya class, which entailed a morning market tour and breakfast with the infinitely knowledgable Mr Mok, followed by a few hours with his wife Amy, who taught us a number of Nyonya dishes
Mr Mok was passionate and gave a really interesting trip around all the stalls. We learned a huge amount about Penang from him and he answered all our questions, and gave us loads of recommendations for the rest of our stay and our onward travels to Ipoh.
Amy was also fantastic, taking us through everything and explaining how and why it was done. Our food was delicious and looked great - very happy with it. They also gave us all the recipes, which we feel confident we’d be able to cook back home!

Petronas Twin Towers and Batu Caves
Outstanding 10/10 Experience with Travelvago Tours & Transfers Malaysia!
Our full-day private tour of Kuala Lumpur was absolutely flawless from start to finish. Booking through Travelvago Tours & Transfers Malaysia was seamless, and the entire experience completely deserved a 5-star rating.
If you are visiting KL, this specific itinerary is the ultimate way to experience the city's rich history, diverse culture, and modern marvels in a single day.
Our tour guide, Ayyanar, was exceptional. He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, punctual, and went completely out of his way to ensure we had the best possible experience. Ayyanar did not just drive us from place to place; he shared fascinating historical insights and cultural context at every single stop, making the city truly come alive. He also knew all the best vantage points for photos and paced the day perfectly so we never felt rushed.
The itinerary itself was masterfully curated:
•Batu Caves: A breathtaking start to the day. Climbing the colorful stairs and seeing the massive Lord Murugan statue up close was unforgettable.
• Petronas Twin Towers Observation Deck: Skipping the hassle and heading straight up to the skybridge and observation deck offered unparalleled, stunning views of the skyline.
• Cultural & Heritage Stops: We loved exploring the vibrant streets of Chinatown, shopping for authentic souvenirs at Central Market KL, and taking in the historic grandeur of Dataran Merdeka.
• Spiritual & Royal Landmarks: The stunning architecture of the National Mosque (Masjid Negara), the serene and beautifully detailed Thean Hou Temple, and the majestic Istana Negara (King’s Palace) provided amazing cultural insights.
• Nature & Tributes: Strolling through the lush greenery of Taman Botani Perdana and paying respects at the National Monument offered a wonderful, peaceful balance to the bustling city spots.
• The River of Life KL: Ending with this gorgeous waterfront view was the perfect conclusion to an already perfect day.Having a private vehicle and a dedicated guide like Ayyanar made exploring KL stress-free and immensely enjoyable.
We highly recommend Travelvago Tours & Transfers Malaysia and Ayyanar to anyone looking for a top-tier, comprehensive experience of Kuala Lumpur!

Great day out exploring the city!
This tour was a solid 8 hours of driving and walking around Kuala Lumpur. It has all the major attractions and then some.
I liked that there was a mix of walking and driving, some places you had more time to explore and some were a drive past.
The tour guide I had was Sasi who was knowledgeable and hilarious. He came prepared with historic photos to show us at some of the sites so we could see what the places looked like originally which was really nice. And bonus he gave some solid advice on other attractions I was planning on visiting which I appreciated.
Overall great day and great value for the price paid.

Perfect way to visit Malacca.
A great way to visit Malacca from KL. Good comms, timely pick-up, modern, comfortable minibus. Our guide Yoga was a great ambassador for Malacca and indeed Malaysia. Very knowledgeable, welcoming and considerate, he made the trip great fun. Cruise (apparently weather permitting) was a highlight and the lunch was very convivial.

Excellent tour with super-friendly guide - Stephen rocks!
The tour and mix of flavours is outstanding, from spicy and salty to sweet delights. A wide range of flavours, textures and ingredients makes for a fantastic tour. From small, family run street cafes, roadside stalls and all the way to a bigger restaurant toward the end, the tour is designed to have small samples of lots of different dishes - watching roti be made, trying all kinds of Malaysian fruits, including durian, sweet tea, local drinks and a delightful mango-coconut dessert. I cannot speak highly enough of our guide, Stephen. Warm, funny, generous and kind with expert knowledge (even if he does support Liverpool - nobody’s perfect, Stephen :-) ) Big thanks to Stephen for his hospitality and going over and above the call of duty. Thoroughly recommend this tour to any family ready to sample the delicious food that the backstreets of old KL have to offer.

Some fantastic food on...
Some fantastic food on the tour and be prepared to be full. They say it is 15 stops - what it fails to mention is that 3 of these are meals that I came away stuffed. Some of the places do not look much from the outside but the knowledge of our guide saw us visit places only locals would know. Ken explained what things were, how made and a whole lot more. All of the food was fantastic. Food is a great way of learning about the people living somewhere!

Best afternoon in Langkawi
What a terrific day on the water with our guide, Apex! He and the team made it fun and safe, starting with a safety session and giving us life vests, waterproof bags, and shoes. Bring sunglasses (need it for the water splashing in your face), lots of sunscreen to reapply and tons of energy, as it is such an exhilarating day. It was about 4 hours (with about 1 hr in the freshwater lake - that was a nice break following some long rides to the islands). Everyone on our tour was first-timer - - so we were feeling the ride. Towards the end, the water got more choppy, so we took a little break at one of the islands and listened to music and hung out in the sea, while it passed. Before returning to Cenang Beach, we made a final stop to watch the eagles feed -- they were amazing, and there were tons of eagles of all sizes. Once we got back, Apex sent us pictures from our first island stop, and the RedRay team sent us the drone videos, which were so cool (that took about 20 mins and we got everyone's videos on our tour, so plan accordingly)!

Kuala lumpa day tour.
We had a fantastic day at the Batu Caves and up in the Gondola to the Highlands where we had lunch and a bit of shopping. Stanley was a great tour guide and driver, explaining the history and culture of Kuala lumpa very patiently. We can highly recommend him and his company's tour.
