Wonderful day outside Taipei

Vincent is the greatest guide ever! He is personable, has a great sense of humor, has fun stories about his pets (ask about his snakes and tarantulas), is very kind, and knows all the nooks and crannies worth seeing. He went with us to every location giving us background info, showed us a wonderful, out of the way, coffee shop, avoided a steep staircase climb in favor of a more scenic and gentle route, and guided us to an out of the way restaurant with a great view. We had a most wonderful day. My wife, adult son, and I all enjoyed ourselves and will always remember our tour with Vincent as a highlight of our stay in Taiwan. Thank you!

Jack was a fantastic tour guide. Always attentive, informative, and knowledgeable. He knows all the spots to go and all the right ways to get there. Although the hiking trails in the park are closed post-earthquake, it is still open for driving tours and small stops along the way. Absolutely gorgeous and definitely worth it.

Great personalized tour of Northern Taiwan

The driver Peter was in the lobby of the hotel waiting for us. He asked us what we wanted to do and what was important to us. We told him we wanted to see the sights learn about the culture and eat some good food. He took us to the northern part of the island. We visited the Geopark in YehLiu then we headed in the other direction and visited the Ruifang district where we took a tour of a temple and had the most delicious lunch at an old tea house. Peter recommended what to eat and he was spot on. We finished the day by visiting the suspension bridge and waterfall. It was a full day and Peter delivered.

A Memorable Trip

Our tour guide, Bubble, was excellent. He did a great job explaining each site we visited. And he provided wifi and water in his van. He’s very thoughtful in assisting elderly family members while walking, offering suggestions on where we can exchange money without fees, and cracked a few jokes along the way. We enjoyed the trip tremendously.

A Pleasant Day

Overall a pleasant day. Activities were in line with expectations. I would have preferred more time at Yehliu since the geological formations were so cool. But I'd guess others would have preferred more time at other spots. Since this is a group tour on a bus, please set expectations around muting cell phones. One lady's phone would ding every minute and she acted like I had the problem when I asked her to turn it off.

Awesome Tour! Reina is the BEST!

Excellent, very informative tour - especially because Reina, our guide, was like a walking history book! Her knowledge was very impressive, as well as her people skills. Very professional tour, and our driver, Mr Chan, was an expert driver. Reina speaks great English and was easily understood. A great way to explore Taiwan

A wonderful way to explore Taiwan outside of Taipei. Alan was the best guide you could ask for. He was extremely funny and had great recommendations and fun facts about everywhere we went. The hotels were comfortable and some of them had hot springs available, which was a big bonus.

Tea tasting and scenic views

Casual drive through the mountains just south of Taipei. Saw local tea fields over looking the thousand island lake. Guide was helpful, especially answering questions about the fauna. The highlight was the tea tasting with a tea master: three teas of which two were locally grown.
