Worth Every Penny – Skip the Line & Ask for Lucia

Lucia was amazing! She was incredibly knowledgeable about the Vatican and shared so many detailed insights that made the experience even more interesting and memorable. The skip-the-line tickets were absolutely worth it. We got in right away, while those without advance tickets were stuck waiting in line for hours. Definitely buy your tickets ahead of time. Our group was small, which made it much easier to navigate through the crowds and gave us more opportunities to ask questions and really enjoy the experience. Highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic tour!

This was such a great tour and Kylie our guide was so incredibly knowledgable. Despite the biblical rain that decided to arrive halfway round the tour, Kylie handled this with grace and humour and despite us all being soaking wet, she kept spirits high. I can’t recommend enough that going somewhere like this, you need a guide - there’s so much you can’t comprehend or understand without their expert knowledge. Loved it!

Unique and Interesting Tour!

This was a really interesting tour to take and was very worth it to us. There were three locations and you got decent time at each. You were given an audio guide at the crypts and if you like to stop and listen to everything this tour doesn’t give you enough time to do that, but I felt we had enough time to see the museum and admire the pieces even without the full time for the audioguide. The catacombs and basilica were also just really amazing pieces of history to see and learn about. Both of these locations did have some slightly more challenging steps and whatnot, so be prepared for that. Nothing crazy, my mom just has a bad ankle and it was a little difficult but doable for her to navigate. Maria was an excellent and high energy tour guide for such an odd and slightly dark topic tour! From the moment we arrived she wanted us to have fun and enjoy ourselves. She was also very knowledgeable about a very long history.

Our guide, Paola was wonderful and so very knowledgeable. She is easy to understand and a delightful person. We wished we had more time at some locations such as the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain, but you can't do it all in one day. At least we saw these things. I recommend this tour to anyone who has a very short time in Rome.

Great tour

Our guide was very knowledgeable and did a great job with our tour. I hadn’t realized how impressive the Palatine Hill & the Roman forum area would be. In some ways, it was more, impressive than the coliseum. I could also see that another advantages of taking this tour is that we were able to go onto some restricted areas that were not accessible to the average visitor.

Best Day Ever with Art

A walk through the park and 5:30 tour was a perfect end to our time in Rome. What I enjoyed most! The gallery is great on its own, but an experience with art can be enhanced so much with the right guide for you. Frederico was awesome in his manner of guiding us to what he knew we’d want to see and telling stories that made everything so interest from many perspectives, beauty, history, finance. His knowledge and presentation are in the superstar category.

Massimo was an excellent tour guide! He was very prepared with fascinating facts about the coliseum and forum and with printed material that brought to life the past. We have visited Rome a number of times and very much regret not having taken a guided tour before. Very much worth the price of admission!!!

Very interesting but not enough time to see exhibits- tour length needs to be increased

Our tour guide was Heidi and whilst she had good knowledge and told us lots of facts we felt quite rushed as the tour didnt allow time to stop to look at the exhibits along the way or even a toilet break until the end. At the end of the tour we would have been able to go back & look but there were few signs so we gave up. We would suggest adding an extra hour to the tour length would make it a much better experience

While our original “underground” tour of the Coliseum was cancelled, our alternative tour was led by a wonderful guide (Tania). She did a great job leading us through the Coliseum, Roman Forum & Palatine Hill all while providing a great explanation of their history, and giving our group time enough time to look around & take pictures.
