The Louvre!

Wow!!! The Louvre is even more inspiring than I imagined. Our guide, Anais, was incredibly knowledgeable. The museum is massive and a little confusing but she navigated it so well. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Paris, but be aware that there is a tremendous amount of walking and going up and down stairs. However, there are elevators that make it very accessible.

It was an excellent tour. Adrian was amazing and we were able to hit all of the highlights of the Louvre along with hidden treasures. Great tour!

Don’t feel intimidated about the long trip, the bus has an emergency toilette and they stop halfway to grab snacks and use the bathrooms, both ways. Very communicative, friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. Amazing tour! In honor of the tour guide, there was a couple that did not follow instructions on getting back to the bus, and they were very rude blaming the tour guide when it was on them. D mentioned so many times that the meeting point was at parking P7, which everyone else understood perfectly. Monte Sainte Michelle is magical! If you have the chance, take the tour!

It was a great day trip to visit D-day beaches (Utah and Omaha) and Normandy American Cemetery. The tour included the museum at Utah beach and Pointe de Hoc with the bunkers and bomb craters. Our tour guide Maja did an excellent job making the history come alive and giving us tips on how to make the most of our time. We definitely learned a lot. Thanks so much Maja!

Great cruise and wonderful ship and food

We thoroughly enjoyed this cruise. The boat was very nice and we had a great seat toward the front along the window. The service and food was very good in our server was outstanding and funny. It rained a bit during our tour so we are unable to enjoy the upstairs deck, but we were very comfortable inside and still enjoyed all of the views as other boats passed by we compared them to ours and felt hours was the nicest. It was very easy to find that check-in was smooth and organized. I highly recommend this cruise to anyone considering it. We really enjoyed the nighttime cruise to see all the sites in the flickering Eiffel Tower.

Matthew's secret sauce

Our food tour of Le Marais with Matthew as our guide was the highlight of our 3-day stay in Paris. Matthew is an exceptional guide who organized everything so seamlessly and artfully that all we had to do was put ourselves in his competent presence and listen. While the food, the setting, the stops, and Matthew's running commentary were superb it's important to praise the tour design as a whole. As two retired professors we have high hopes for a certain level of intellectual and aesthetic richness whenever we sign up for a tour or outing. Matthew's tour met and exceeded our expectations. He expertly wove culinary, agricultural, cultural, geographic, historical, and sociopolitical perspectives into every moment, all while interacting with each tourist (there were four of us) with merry respect and kindness. Le Marais, if not Paris itself, is Matthew's classroom and we as "students" came away with the feeling that he has much more to teach us beyond the three hours + that we spent with him. In the current anti-humanist climate where certain actors are trying to force machine-based learning into every aspect of human life it is a great pleasure to share an authentic meeting of minds over any topic. What could be more universal in the human experience than the art of food making? You don't have to be a chef or gourmand to come away from Matthew's food tour to feel enriched by the experience. Your belly will be full, that's a certainty. More important is the fullness of heart you feel for having spent part of your day with a knowledgeable and generous kindred spirit.

Fantastic tour and communication

The meeting place was listed at the statue of King Louis XIV. I was a little worried as to where the statue was. No worries. It is the BIG statue at the drop off location. You can't miss it! We had a great tour and a fantastic guide. My husband was having some difficulty and our guide went and got a wheelchair. He was so patient and kind. I hate that I can't remember his name.

Absolutely, hands down a fabulous experience. This was our second time but on the later on to see the lights at night. Needless to say it was so perfect! Atmosphere was off the charts and food and service expert level! Music complimented the whole evening. Will be back next year!
