Perfect day in the Bavarian countryside.

First of all the pick-up location was perfect, half a block from our hotel with easy instructions on meeting point. Marleen our guide was perfect, she knew everything about each location and was super welcoming making us feel like we have been friends for ages. Our bus driver got us there safe and sound we appreciate his driving up the two hour back and forth ride. This tour is hands down the best and I recommend it to everyone you will not regret it.

We had a wonderful experience on the full day VIP Daytrip Neuschwanstein, Linderhof and Grotto from Munich. The tour bus was very comfortable and provided an easy way to see the Bavarian forests and explore the picturesque palace and castles. It was helpful that the tour included snacks and beverages for the ride since it is a long day. One of the highlights of this tour was the visit to the Venus Grotto on the grounds of the Linderhof Palace where we experienced the colorful effects of lights and reflections on the water. During our stop at Neuschwanstein Castle, we felt that we had plenty of time to enjoy a leisurely lunch and make the trek up the hill to the castle for the scheduled tour time. The walk up the hill from the commercial area to Neuschwanstein Castle takes visitors along a beautiful, though steep road through the forest, but there are also options to ride most of the way in horse-drawn carriages or shuttle buses. It is important for visitors to know that the options to ride up the hill require cash payment in Euros. Our tour guide Marcus was very congenial and knowledgeable. He explained what we saw as we drove through the hills from Munich and provided stories about the history of the landmark sites and the people that constructed them. He handled all the tour tickets and both he and his assistant looked out for the welfare of the group at each stop.

She masterfully managed our group from the tour office in Munich, to the train, to the city of Salzburg, providing interesting information and answering questions along the way. It was a wonderful way to get a brief introduction of the city and overall a great way to spend the day. Along with the knowledgeable tour came time on our own to explore the old town and a solid plan to meet and return to Munich.

Aileen was an excellent guide ensuring the entire group was on the train, then the bus and with her the entire time. She was super knowledgable and highlighted the key points at the museum. As you might imagine, Dachau is an emotional experience. Our guide, Sam did a fantastic job of explaining the site with both facts and emotion. Sam gave people time to process the intensity of the area. His expertise and passion for this subject was very evident. He wants people to remember the Holocaust. Great way to learn about the city

This is a very nice boat trip through the city. It was my first time in Berlin and it gave me a great overview of the city. You get to see many of the sites and learn some fun facts. The tour gave me a better idea of what else I wanted to see in the city. The ride is comfortable and there are drinks to purchase on board. At just an hour I feel like it’s a great option to introduce yourself to the city.

A Tour Worth Your Time

This tour was a great way to see the Neuschwanstein Castle. Fast access to the castle plus our very good guide Leon led with precision and humor. We took the shuttle bus up to the castle and Mary's bridge (it was one hell of a climb) and chose to walk down to meet our group at the end of the tour but didn't realize the trip down took 45 minutes. We descended in record time. The views from the castle were spectacular and the history of the castle was intriguing. All in all, this tour was worth the money, and we had a wonderful time.
