San Diego Whale/Dolphin Watching Cruise Aboard Luxury Vessel

Carol_S, Sept 2026

Better than Anticipated

We were so extremely fortunate to see sea lions, seals, several different species of dolphins, hammerhead shark, flying fish and to top it all off we also saw orca whales today. Thank you to Capt “Redbeard” and Ian, our naturalist, for a spectacular day and for sharing all your amazing knowledge with us. This was such an awesome experience Phil & Carol Frederick, Maryland

Guided Whale Watching Tour from Long Beach

Dolphin sighting

Went out for a ride on a Monday afternoon. The ticket pick up and dock are very accessible. Although the waters are warmer than normal this time of year, I still had hopes on seeing some marine life. We were able to view beautiful pod of common dolphins. There was also a quick Minke whale sighting, but we weren’t able to spot him. Overall, the boat was well kept and the crew were very helpful and friendly.

Monterey Whale Watching Tour

Awesome experience!

Great experience. Well worth it! I specifically chose this company because it has the biggest boat on Fisherman's Wharf, and with the water being choppy the way it was, I was really happy to be on this boat and not some of the other smaller ones. Lots of information given by Kate, who is very educated about the whales we saw. They all have names. And the best part is that we were sent free photos after the trip. Tipping is encouraged, especially for the free photos. Would 100% choose Princess Monterey again!

Lake Tahoe Emerald Bay Scenic Cruise

Wonderful way to experience Lake Tahoe

This tour is appropriate for all ages! Informative cruise explaining facts about the lake. On a beautiful day you have the option to sit outside, however if too cool, you can easily sit inside in climate controlled environment to enjoy the trip. Highly recommend!

Yellow Semi-Submarine Tour of Catalina Island From Avalon

Kenci_M, Sept 2026

Fun!

This was a wonderful experience with my husband. This is something I plan on doing with my nieces and nephews in the future because it’s kid friendly! You get to see alot of fish and you have the option to buy fish food price ranging from $5-$22. We had to opportunity to see a huge sea turtle. At the end of the tour you are on the top of the submarine (it’s a semi submarine) and it’s an amazing view!!! My suggestion would be to do more than one activity. There is a lot to pick from. You can pick your activities on this website but you need to go to the place and have your tickets printed out. You can also buy tickets on the island (may sell out).

Clear Kayak Tour of Sand Harbor's Crystal Clear Waters

Clear kayak lake tahoe

This was a great experience from the booking, early and clear communication about meeting, parking, and preparation. Our driver of the shuttle was very informative about the tour and highlights of Lake Tahoe with points of interest and dining options. Our guide Daniel was great. Informative about the lake and paced the trip to our group. The kayaks were very sturdy with no fear of tipping. The views through the kayak and lakeside were stunning.would recommend 100 percent!!

Monterey Bay Whale Watching

Great fun if you want to see whales

Great trip, the whales were incredible to watch and it was an excellent experience. I’d highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting to sea whales in their natural habitat. Staff were very attentive, however they gave so many sea sickness warnings and instructions about vomit that it made me feel sick!

Alcatraz Inside Tour With Ferry, Free Audio and Night Option

Tiffany_R, July 2026

Insiders experience on going to Alcatraz Island

Travelers must redeem their tickets prior to the start of the tour so allot plenty of time for get the tickets and show up 30 minutes before the ferry leaves. The ferry has indoor and outdoor options so everyone can find a place that works for them. Restrooms and snacks are available on the pier, boat, and restrooms are also available on Alcatraz Island. Be prepared to walk up somewhat steep inclines once on the island. There are alternatives for those that truly need assistance. The narrated tour was fabulous along with the view of the cells and various rooms. Visitors are transported back in time to really imagine what it was like at Alcatraz. Definitely recommend this tour! Last thing, dress in layers because it gets really windy on the island. Enjoy!!

A balloon experience that lifted our spirits

We had a great balloon experience from start to finish. Our pilot, Nacho, was very personable, knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire ride. He shared interesting information, answered questions, and helped make the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a memorable and well-run adventure that we would definitely recommend.

Whale-Watching Cruise from Newport Beach

A lieutenant Dan and the storm kind of day!

We went out on a choppy ocean day. My son and I had a blast standing at the bow of the boat as we crashed head on into waves. Eventually we were told we were turning around due to the swells. Didn’t get to see any marine life, but we had a friggin blast anyways, and they gave us a ticket to return whenever for free. I highly recommend anyways! 🤗
