We really enjoyed this small group tour. Our guide Paul was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of history with us. Be forewarned though- this place requires a lot of walking including uphill and stairs. We took our time and it was tiring but worth it!

Bucket List Experience

An amazing, immersive day in Normandy. Our guide, Paul, was outstanding. His enthusiasm, passion and knowledge of D-Day and of the mini-series for this tour was non-stop from the very beginning. Overall, it was a moving experience and everyone in our group of six all really felt connected to these courageous men as we followed their path behind enemy lines. Whether or not you are a fan of, “Band of Brothers,” (which we all were), this is a highly recommended bucket-list, “must-do” experience. Thanks again to Paul for a day we will always treasure.

Just Incredible.

We were picked up in our AirBNB in a beautiful van. VERY convenient for a ride out to the D-Day sites. The history and visuals were breathtaking. The American Cemetery was very emotionally moving. The Experience was particularly amazing because our guide was EXCEPTIONAL. Audrey was very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job explaining the region and its history, from the Vikings all the way up to present day, with a focus on WWII. She was also very accommodating with my wife’s elderly parents. She was very fun and funny and we now consider her like our new friend. ! A+++++.

Our tour operator, Matt, was one of the best we have ever encountered. He was extremely knowledgeable and was talking to us the entire way. He told a very emotional story about a veteran returning to Omaha Beach for the first time in over 50 years. It was the best part of the tour. We could not have asked for a better tour operator. This was a fantastic tour! We spent over three weeks touring London, Spain, Portugal, and Paris, and this was the highlight of our trip! Our guide Noe was exceptional and had such an amazing depth of knowledge, so very impressive. He had a great sense of humor and told all the amazing stories that you don't really hear about. The transportation was very comfortable for a long day of touring Normandy. We stopped and had a great lunch in Sainte Mere-Eglise halfway through to the day. We saw all the major sites and it was just incredible. The cost for a private tour was definitely worth it to have flexibility and the personal attention in a small group. We were a group of 6, Army Veterans and Paratroopers, so it was even more incredible for us and to hear all the amazing stories Noe told us that we did not know already. Don't hesitate to book this tour, with this company. I hope you get Noe as a guide, he was truly amazing! *Bring water or snacks, wear shoes that are comfortable and can walk on the beach. Check the weather, it was windy and chilly on the beach in Aug.

A Tour de force

Helene was our guide and was terrific. This tour was flexible with destinations so we were never rushed. We could spend more time at locations based on what we liked. The paratrooper museum was great and instead of Utah beach we went to Arromanches where the British and Canadians landed and part of the artificial reef still survives.
