Five Stars - Normandy American Beaches Tour
Our full day tour covered a lot of territory with a fantastic guide, Claire, who brought the WWII landing beaches, countryside and towns to life with her real-life stories and knowledge of history; and she arranged/rearranged the day so that our small group was able to experience the, very emotional, retreat ceremony held each afternoon at the American cemetery. Thank you, Claire; and Gold Beach Company.

Highly recommend this tour
Small group (there were 4 of us). Wally was so knowledgeable and timed the tour to be sure we were at the American cemetery at 4pm for the lowering of the flag and TAPS. The tour picked up my hotel which was very convenient. I highly recommend this tour.

Bucket list item - CHECK!
This tour left from Bayeux, so it was about a 1.5hr drive thru beautiful Normandy. We had a small group (5). Elise was a great guide and very knowledgeable. I have some mobility issues and knew I would struggle with the climbing. Elise was so thoughtful about my needs. In the end I sent her and the rest of the group ahead. I did what I could but I was very pleased with this tour.

Unforgettable Tour that Every American Should Experience
This is a pilgrimage every American should make. It was a beautiful, moving, solemn and unforgettable experience. Our tour guide ("Sam") was outstanding; his depth of knowledge and insights were unmatchable. The tour included all the stops we wanted to make and was perfectly timed to provide us with ample time to truly appreciate each experience. The communication about the meeting point and details was excellent, and we were returned to the cruise ship port in plenty of time before departure. Five stars all around; thank you for an unforgettable experience.

The northern region of Normandy is one of France’s most emblematic, boasting centuries of history, iconic cuisine, and a rich tapestry of cultural heritage. Visiting the D-Day Landing Beaches and World War II sites rank among the most popular Normandy tours, but guided visits can also add depth when checking off must-sees like the Bayeux Tapestry and the Mont St Michel monastery. Beyond the headline acts, exploring Normandy like a local means embracing the slower pace of life: explore the countryside by e-bike or sidecar, stop for a cider tasting amid the orchards, or stroll the waterfront of Honfleur or Deauville.
