D-Day
The half day tour included 3 stops and they were incredible. Our tour guide, Lucy, not only had beautiful, long fingernails and could park on a dime, but she was so pleasant and knowledgeable!! We really enjoyed her presentation (it was like she had years of theatrical training 😉)! Seriously, she was a sweetheart! The sights were AMAZING!!! The tour gave us a new level of appreciation for what took place here all those years ago. Thank you to all the soldiers.

A very interesting and informative tour of the American sector.
This was an excellent day out. We visited six sites and the timings were spot on both in terms of time spent at each and travel distances. Our guide Arthur was incredibly knowledgeable and shared a lot of information (but not too much!) It would be hard to do these sites without a guide. The day also included a decent break for lunch at St Mère Eglise which was a nice way to break up the day. Would thoroughly recommend doing this.

Wonderful and Memorable
That’s what our guide, Sam, promised. Did he ever deliver! We traveled with close friends too and what an experience we shared. Yes, somber at times given the events of 82 years ago that took so many lives. But also very informative. The US cemetery with over 9,300 buried there and another 1,000 plus missing touches the heart. Then to stand on the beach to remember quite different scenery to that of 1944 and realise things in Europe could have been different if not for the sacrifice of these men is an experience. On to Point du Hoc where 225 Rangers climbed cliffs to take bunkers. 2 days later only 90 were fit for duty. The landscape including craters is as it was. We went to Le Cambe where over 21,000 German soldiers are buried. Along the way there were ample toilet stops and we were fed and watered including sampling some local cider. The wonderful French countryside was a pleasure to behold as well as the hedge rows which caused so much trouble on D Day. Highly recommended tour!

Amazing Experience with Fabrice
Fabrice made this an amazing experience. He was very knowledgeable about the details and specifics of what took place in Normandy. He discussed the strategies that were used and talked about the American soldiers as people and gave insight into their ages, experience level, and the weather conditions that they had to experience. I wasn't sure what to expect, but he was so interesting and made me want to know and learn more. He was very passionate about the subject and made this a trip to remember. There were several cruise ship excursions that day and he made sure that we avoided the crowds by being aware of their progress and changing the sequence of the areas that we toured. We also ate at a wonderful farm to table restaurant that he chose. He went above and beyond by giving us suggestions of where to eat in Paris and some history of the city. This trip was well worth the cost because of our amazing guide!

The northern region of Normandy is one of France’s most emblematic, boasting centuries of history, iconic cuisine, and a rich tapestry of cultural heritage. Visiting the D-Day Landing Beaches and World War II sites rank among the most popular Normandy tours, but guided visits can also add depth when checking off must-sees like the Bayeux Tapestry and the Mont St Michel monastery. Beyond the headline acts, exploring Normandy like a local means embracing the slower pace of life: explore the countryside by e-bike or sidecar, stop for a cider tasting amid the orchards, or stroll the waterfront of Honfleur or Deauville.
