Give it a go!

We felt Lucerne was beautiful and the time was definitely adequate if you are also wanting to go up to Mt Titlus. For those complaining about the walk from where buses are required to park or a desire for more time, don’t do this then. While Mt Titlus ended up engulfed in clouds even though it was perfectly clear below, can’t do anything about the odds! Was a little surprised more eating options not open at Mt Titlus - summer lower season? But the Indian food at the very bottom was great. Guides were helpful and gave nice information about the area. Definitely recommend!

Where do I begin? Our tour guide Olga, we can’t say enough about. She did the tour in 2 languages, English and Spanish, although she only speaks 4 languages 😳. Very personal, kind, extremely knowledgeable and a beautiful young lady, to boot. The trip was stunning. The countryside, the history were like a breath of fresh air. The alps and our ascent were spellbinding. We went during summer so the ice and snow coverage had receded a bit. We went from Bus to Train and gondola. Spectacular! Don’t miss it! With every penny. Great tour! It included several delicious local dishes in sit-down environments and was perfectly paced. Our guide, Johanna, was delightful and very knowledgeable about Zurich’s history and the food we were eating. Our family includes three tween- to teen- aged boys and everyone had a great time. A great way to get a feel for Zürich and its local dishes especially if you don’t have a long time in town. Would definitely recommend.

Great day on Glacier Express and Andermott.

Pleasant day, beautiful views. Victor was a wonderful guide. Trip went like clockwork because of his great planning. We went on 6 trains and every one was on time. I could never have planned it so well. Food really good on the Glacier express. Sit on the left side leaving Zürich facing the direction you are traveling . You can really see from everwhere and apparently you need a reservation. Only down side, it was raining in Lucerne.
