Nice day trip to a scenic village in France.

This is a very doable half-day(ish) trip from Geneva. Can be done without a tour, but using an organized trip takes all the guess work about getting there and back. Our tour guide Gabriel was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable, which gave us a better appreciation about the area that we may not have gotten if we traveled by ourselves. Annecy itself is a quaint, beautiful, and walkable village. And, because it is only about an hour away from Geneva, it is well worth the time. Doing it by tour makes it an even easier excursion.

Fantastic food tour!

Robert was a fantastic tour guide Not only did he know his food but his history as well. We started off with a trip to a local chocolate shop, then a trip to a market place to sample meats. We walked through the old city took our next stop of cheese fondue. We learned history as we walked. We ended with delicious dessert.

Breathtaking and amazing

Chris was a wonderful guide! When my Uber driver got stuck in traffic and I was 5 min late, they got me on a different bus and he met me at the drop off in Chamonix. I am so glad I didn’t cancel. This trip was the highlight of my vacation. The weather was awful (very low visibility due to snow and winds and -2 degrees C), the panoramic part was closed, and we couldn’t see a thing going up the cable car. A couple of people experienced altitude sickness. Bring a warm jacket, gloves, and wear comfortable closed toed walking shoes. The experience was beyond words…the ice cave and the charming Chamonix and even the snow all made for a once in a lifetime experience.

Great tour with the best tour guide!

Everything was perfect! The scenery was amazing, the driver was friendly, and the tour guide, Neal, was the best. His passion for his job was evident. He was so funny, knowledgeable, and dedicated to his work. He even helped rescue a climber before our meeting time. It’s definitely something we’ll remember forever. Plus, the weather was perfect, and we gave it two thumbs up!

Great trip around the lake

Excellent hour long tour of lake Geneva (I think the boat seated 12 in total) looked after by our captain Eric, who was a great host! A choice of red or white wine, or apple juice and a small selection of snacks was a nice touch. Frequent stops at different points to tell us about the lake and local points of interest. Getting so close to the Jet d’Eau was a great experience and fab for photos. Many thanks - would recommend.

A fantastic. Tour. Amine, our guide was wonderful! The Charlie Chaplin museum is extremely interesting. Highly recommend. Montreux is neat. Get a picture of Freddie Mercury. Amine took us to his studio. A great surprise. The Chillon castle is interesting. Highly recommend this tour

Amazing tour

We absolutely loved the chocolate and cheese tour! Our tour guide, Gabor, was fantastic and made the experience both fun and informative. We really enjoyed learning about how the cheese and chocolate are made, and the visit to the castle was a wonderful bonus. A great experience from start to finish-we highly recommend this tour.

Excellent Experience

Our guide Kareem was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Whether you’re in Geneva for a short time, like we were, or several days I can’t recommend this tour enough. You’ll see all the most important sites and understand the history behind them in under 2 hours. Kareem was also nice enough to recommend restaurants and drop us off where we wished at the end of the tour after picking us up at our hotel. I have zero critical feedback on this experience, highly recommend!

Worth the Time

The trip is amazing. The views on the ride there are only topped by the view from the top of the Matterhorn. Regardless of the temperature when you leave Vienna, dress for cold. You will be walking through a glacier. Glaciers are made of ice. You will also be nearly 13,000 feet above sea level. It is cold up there. Also, identification was lost and the local tour company made sure that we got it back, when we thought we would never see it again.
