The driver and the guides were excellent. The drive to the destination was smooth and he was great navigating through the many switchbacks and narrow small town roads. The guides were cheerful, knowledgeable and very helpful. Highly recommend this excursion!

We had perfect weather for the trip to Titlis. Doria was an informative guide and helped the entire group navigate to the top of the mountain and explained all of the different activities. Be aware of your time and don’t be late! The coach will leave without you as a few guests did find out the hard way.

This was a tour that had many wait lines getting to top- longest at least an hour. This took out much of time anllowed annd we were not able to do chair lift experience. Tubing was closed . Some travelers almost got left behind as it took them so long to return. Climbing to sky walk was very difficult and many fell holding on to rope to get up slippery hill. I don’t think this is for a large group tour when it was so crowded on a weekend - maybe because it was a beautiful day! Priscilla saved the trip - she was terrific.. Lucerne was beautiful- I highly recommend seeing the bridge !

Dear Owllover,
Thank you for joining our Mount Titlis tour and for taking the time to share your feedback with us.
We are sorry to hear that the tour didn’t fully meet your expectations.
As stated clearly in the Viator tour description, activities such as the Ice Flyer, Cliff Walk, and tubing are weather dependent. While we always prioritize safety, weather conditions can sometimes force the temporary closure of certain attractions.
Mount Titlis is a very popular destination and we understand it can feel crowded during peak times. The Titlis staff strives to ensure the visit is as smooth and efficient as possible, and we are sorry to hear that the journey up took longer than expected.
Despite the weather conditions, we are pleased to hear that Priscilla, your tour guide, provided excellent service and that you enjoyed your visit to Lucerne.
We hope to welcome you on another tour in the future, hopefully with better weather and access to all the activities!
Best regards,
Magdalena from Best of Switzerland Tours

The whole experience was amazing and interesting. The tour guide worked very hard and made the trip so colorful.

The trip to the top depends on weather permitting. Gondola ride is a favourite enjoyable exhilarating I could go up and down if given opportunity as the views are spectacular.

Fabulous to be able to see Lucerne and go to the very top of Titles. Glad I had snow gloves, hat and shoes with tread. Our guide Verana was excellent

We had a great day. Alexander was our guide for the day. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, spoke in English and Spanish. Our first stop was Lucerne. Such a beautiful city, we had our own time to walk & explore. Mt. Titlas was stunning. We took the gondola to the Rotating cable car, that was awesome. The view from the top did not disappoint! The glazier cave was beautiful, my sister said the walk on the bridge was amazing. I’m not great with heights, I was fine with all of it, minus the suspension bridge, I didn’t attempt it🤣 but the pictures from it were stunning. We ate at the restaurant, went to the base bar before our bus headed back, both were good. It was a really great day. The sights along the way, magnificent.

I did this day trip as a female solo traveler. I had an absolutely wonderful time. My guides were Sophia and Sandra, and Hugo was our driver. They were all so great!!!! Mt. Titlis was absolutely breathtaking. We had amazing sunny weather, so all of our pictures looked so good! Lucerne was a short stop, only about 1 hour, I was able to see the highlights, snap some pics, and have a quick to go lunch. Bus was a far walk from the Lucerne city center. So that cuts into your time in Lucerne cause you have to make sure you're back in time. Definitely try to eat in Lucerne, there is so much to do at Mt. Titlis, you won't want to sit and eat lunch for an hour. My only complaint was, the tour is 12 hours long, and we did not stop for bathroom breaks at all. It was about an hour drive to our first destination (Lucerne), and thankfully there were public bathrooms in the area we arrived in/parked in....We also were not allowed to eat or drink on the bus. Plus, there were no phone charger outlets. For such a long day trip (10ish hours), I think you should be able to have a small snack or coffee on the bus. Overall, great tour and would definitely go again!!!

Today was a memorable day! Tour guides were extremely knowledgeable, kind and made sure every detail was taken care of. We started in Zurich, spent a couple hours in Lucerne, and then off to Mt. Titlis — taking a gondola to the top, walking over a suspension bridge, walking through an ice cave, and taking pictures of the magical scenery. Photos on my camera just didn’t do it justice!
Dominick_B, Feb 2026
This was by far the worst experience. Please check the weather before the cancel date and time or else they will still drive you to a mountain to look at fog and have everything closed. I’ve asked for a refund twice and they haven’t even responded - thus me writing a negative review. Seriously. Check the weather before you go a day or two in advance. If there’s ANY chance of fog or clouds - cancel and get your money back.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Dear Dominick,
Thank you very much for choosing our fully guided tour to Mount Titlis and for taking the time to share your feedback with us.
We are truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations due to the weather conditions. Switzerland is a country where it tends to rain a lot, particularly during this time of the year. Additionally, most of our clients are travelling just for a few days and would be disappointed if we would cancel a tour due to rain and/or snowfall. For this reason, even if the weather conditions are not ideal, the tours will continue to operate.
As it is clearly stated in our cancellation policy, cancellations or amendments must be requested at least 24 hours prior to departure. This timeframe is intended to provide guests with the opportunity to review weather forecasts in advance and make adjustments if they prefer. We regret any disappointment caused and understand your frustration.
We are also concerned to read that you contacted us twice without receiving a response. We make every effort to reply to all inquiries, and we sincerely apologize if your message was missed for any reason. Kindly send us an email directly at info@switzerland-tours.ch with your booking details so we can carefully review your case and follow up appropriately.
We hope you were still able to enjoy other aspects of your stay in Switzerland and would welcome the opportunity to provide you with a better experience in the future, ideally under clearer skies.
Best regards,
Clara from Best of Switzerland Tours

Great experience!
I really really recommend it for everyone, besides if you’ve never ski, I think worths pay for it, people are kindly, all was awesome
Trevor_S, Jan 2026
The trip to the top of the mountain is very reliant on the weather conditions and the mountain operator. The day we had the tour it was cancelled although the weather didn't seem so bad when we reached the mountain. The tour guide was exceptional, very knowledgeable and funny. Great way to spend Christmas Day in the snow. Only unfortunate part was the delay in getting the refund for the cancelled portion of the trip from Viator.
Brittany_S, Jan 2026
Fun day! Weather was very foggy so we couldn't see much until we went up the mountain, but made the best out of it. Sledding down the hill was not possible ans poorly coordinated on the mountain. Not tour guides fault. Also, top of mountain was closed due to high winds so we received partial refund. Also not tour guides fault.
Ruth_R, Jan 2026
Our tour guide, I believe her name was Andrea, was awesome. She explained everything very well and was extremely knowledgeable, sharing a lot of helpful and interesting information throughout the tour.
The only downside for me was that once we arrived in Lucerne, there was about a 15-minute walk. For someone who has difficulty walking long distances, it would be nice if there were an alternative option.
Overall, it was a great experience and I would still recommend it.
Arif_H, Jan 2026
Breath taking experience, it was so crowded during holiday season but overal experience was good and breath taking as we were at 10.000 feet on top and using huge gondola for 50 people
sharon_g, Jan 2026
The mountain didn’t disappoint, absolutely beautiful. Temp -15c but so worth it.
The views are not to be missed. Lucern was amazing.
The tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and accommodating.

We had a fabulous family tour up to Mount Titlis today, couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking and the whole day was very well organised. Our guide was friendly, helpful, and incredibly informative, which made the trip even more enjoyable for both adults and children. Everything ran smoothly and we felt well looked after from start to finish. We will definitely recommend this tour to other families visiting!
Devin_W, Jan 2026
The tour guides were incredibly kind and helpful. They shared so much interesting info on the way to Mount Titlis. The excursion itself was worth every penny. The most beautiful and amazing day.
Annie_H, Jan 2026
I really wish we could spend more time in Lucerne. It is a really pretty town. The weather at the top of the mountain was too windy, I guess, so we weren't able to go up to the top, but we had a great time being at the middle section and walking around the lake. It was very beautiful.
Sean_M, Dec 2025
Magical day spent at Lucerne and then the amazing Mt Titlis - so beautiful made me cry
Also props to our guide Dario who was great
JENALEE_G, Dec 2025
I believe this tour would have been great any other time of the year outside of Christmas week. It did start out promptly and our visit to Lucerne was very nice. It was a quick and easy walk through the old city. With that being said, the trip to Titlis was great but cost of the trip anticipated enough time to see the ice caverns, ride the chair lift, walk the suspension bridge and also snow tube. We spent most of the visit waiting in lines and we unable to do any of the paid excursion. The site was so packed it was impossible. Generally most tours I've done you are able to avoid lines in order to get the full tour you pay for. With this, the day was over booked and the tour was not actually provided since you were at your own leisure. This was a complete waste of money and time. Visit this beautiful mountain without a tour. You will get your money's worth that way.
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Dear Jenalee,
Thank you very much for joining our Mt Titlis tour during Christmas season and taking the time to leave this review.
We regret to hear that you felt the tour was a waste of time and money. Switzerland is one of the top destinations during the festive season of Christmas and New Year’s Eve, offering an enchanting atmosphere with the snow-covered peaks and cozy wooden chalets. This period marks the peak season, attracting a high volume of visitors, both international tourists and locals that wish to enjoy the fresh snow for winter activities. Unfortunately, even when visiting with a group, bypassing the queues to access cable cars or partake in summit activities isn't possible. Nevertheless, the Titlis team is consistently putting in efforts to manage and streamline the passenger flow for a smoother experience.
We hope that you still enjoyed your stay in Switzerland and had a great beginning of the year!
Best regards

The travel was effortless and the tour guides, Victor and Lars, really helped out with any issues! The views were gorgeous, and the weather was PERFECT! I would recommend this 100%.
Michael_A, Dec 2025
We have done quite a few tours over the years and this was by far the best! Everything was so magical. The sledding and frozen lake were outstanding!
Sophia_O, Dec 2025
Our tour guide was excellent. Everything was well planned and timed. Would absolutely recommend to everyone.
Carol_R, Dec 2025
Well organized. Love our time to explore in Lucern by ourselves. We visited several churches and Christmas markets. The ride to the top of the mountain was amazing and the ice cave and cliff were great. Our weather was sleet and snow but still enjoyed ourselves
arwa_f, Dec 2025
It was well organized, full of useful information and fun
The tour guide Antea (mot sure about the spelling) was very helpful and friendly lady.
Marianela_J, Dec 2025
We were sent up Mt Titlis without our tourist guide and we were somehow lost where to get started . We missed the hanging bridge which was part of the tour and missed the outside experience where you hanged on a moving suspension. I think missing these 2 experiences , that they should give us a refund! I could have bought my own ticket to this excursion for lesser money . The tour to Luzern is also on your own and you have to walk back to the bus. You can easily get distracted with the time frame they gave you. I was disappointed.
Response from Host, Dec 2025
Dear Marianela,
Thank you very much for choosing our tour to Mount Titlis from Zurich and for taking the time to share your feedback with us.
We are very sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations. Like any other destination in Switzerland, Mount Titlis can indeed be visited independently. However, we believe our tour offers a fair price, especially considering that the same journey by public transportation costs CHF 182.– per person. Our tour, at CHF 176.–, includes not only all transportation but also the assistance of a tour guide and a hassle-free experience.
We are surprised to read that you reached the summit without the company of your guide. This excursion is fully guided, and our guides accompany the group all the way to the top, ensuring that every guest is shown around and does not miss any of the included activities, such as the Cliff Walk. We have not received any communication from you during or after the tour indicating that you were left alone, and we would be grateful if you could provide us with more details. Please feel free to reach out to us at info@switzerland-tours.ch, and we will gladly investigate this matter further.
We hope that despite the challenges, you were able to enjoy the beautiful views from the summit and hope to have the opportunity of welcoming you on another tour in the future.
Best regards,
Clara from Best of Switzerland Tours

Very comfortable, safe bus ride with Carlos while Cecille informed us of what we were seeing and where to look. Very informative and impressive that she spoke in English and Spanish so everyone was included
