Not including the 2-stage ride up by cable car, which has a stretch by rotating cabin, the main Mt. Titlis attractions and activities are summit-based. You can partake in skiing, hiking, and admiring the views, while attractions include the Titlis Cliff Walk suspension bridge, the SnowXPark, the Ice Flyer chairlift, and a glacier cave.

Yes, Mt. Titlis is a year-round mountain destination, but you’ll have different experiences depending on the season when you visit. In the winter, expect snow everywhere; opportunities for snow sports and snowman building abound. In the summer, the hiking trails, mountain biking routes, and zip lines open up for action.

Whenever you visit Mt. Titlis, remember that at an altitude of around 9,840 feet (3,000 meters), the weather is unpredictable. Bring sunglasses, a hat, a scarf, and a windproof jacket. And, wear long trousers; your legs will thank you at the top, even if it’s scorching hot lower down the mountain.

Mt. Titlis prices aren’t advertised as entrance fees, but you need to pay for the cable car to visit, along with select summit activities. For example, the Mt. Titlis Cliff Walk is included in the round-trip cable car fee, but you need to pay more to ride the Ice Flyer chairlift.

The Mt. Titlis summit has two restaurants: The Titlis Panorama offers a wide choice of lunch options with table service, while the Titlis Self-Service Panorama serves quicker and simpler bites. For (slightly) less expensive eateries with a traditional mountain restaurant vibe, head further down the mountain to Stand or Trübsee.

There are no guided tours of the Mt. Titlis summit, but if you want information on places to see or hike, options exist. There are Mt. Titlis day trips from Lucerne or Zurich, where guides often give mountain information as you travel. Or, you can find private mountain guides for hiking.
