Each market offers a unique atmosphere, from grand public squares to hidden artistic districts, all glowing with lights, filled with the scents of roasted chestnuts and cinnamon, and alive with the spirit of the season. In the car, you'll be served with mulled wine and holiday cookies. Please note: To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, we kindly ask guests to be punctual. Each Christmas market visit is scheduled for approx. 20 minutes, so timely departure is essential in order to keep the tour on track and visit all locations.

No wonder the Habsburgs left us with an ubiquitous legacy which can be deciphered on many buildings, squares, and religious edifices in Vienna’s Old Town as well as inside locations of Imperial presence now museums. Regional traditions and even some character traits of and prejudices against Austrians in general and Viennese in particular can be traced back to the long rule of one dynasty. Last but nor least, we inherited many fascinating, awe-inspiring, at times shocking, sometimes tragical but every so often comical stories, some of which I will share with you on this vivid and colourful historical tour.
