Loved this Tour of Murano and Burano!
This was a great tour! Sylvia was a fantastic guide. We toured the Murano glass studio and the lace makers in Burano. It was the perfect balance of learning and free time. She was very knowledgeable and provided great suggestions of where to eat and visit!

It was a great well organized tour. We had a very interesting glass blowing demonstration. Burano was so pintoresque, beautiful experience. Monica, our tour guide gave us plenty of good information about each island. Over all it was a great tour. I just wished we had a little more free time to walk around Murano

Great service for everyone!
The two guides were knowledgeable, interesting, and engaging. The first guide explained the landmarks in and around Venice as we rode in a comfortable boat to Murano and Burano. The second guide explained the glassblowing and led us through an amazing showroom of Murano glass. There were 3 people on the tour that spoke neither Italian nor English. No problem for both guides. They would then explain again in a third language, Spanish. Trilingual guides. Great service for everyone!

Wonderful day & change of...
Wonderful day & change of base from the heart of Venice, Murano & Burano were quiet, beautiful little communities w/ great places for lunch & window shopping. 16 mile boat ride was a welcome relaxation & great way to see outside of city center, host was engaging & wealth of local info in a small group atmosphere making for a special day. Would recommend to anyone 🇮🇹❤️🇮🇹

Murano
  • Murano glassblowing and Burano lace-making demonstrations make for great photos.

  • Both Murano glass and Burano lace are famous for their impeccable craftsmanship—and prices reflect that. Be wary of “bargain” prices, which often mean counterfeit goods.

  • Visitors often find that Murano’s glass shops employ hard-sell techniques, which can be uncomfortable. To avoid being strong-armed, always book your Venice islands tour through a reputable company.
