Harajuku family fun!
Fun day exploring Harajuku with Andrie! We all enjoyed the different dining experiences and touring the shopping areas after visiting the shrine and gardens. Perfect first day in Tokyo

Fun and flexible afternoon out
It was just me on the tour so I got to dictate most of the day; we visited an animal cafe and got drinks and it was like being out with a friend! The neighborhood is so much more than the one street that can be quite crowded, so save your energy for some of the lesser-known areas (including all those vintage shops) and just take in the location!

Best way to spend your first day in Tokyo.
This was one of the best tours ! Our guide was so very knowledgeable and fun. My granddaughter said the guide was more like a friend showing us her favorite places.

A very fun, informative, interesting tour.
Making the Okonomiyaki and the restaurant was really great as well. Going to the Cotton Candy place was really cool and the crepe place. Walking through the temple and the streets of Harajuku. Midori was amazing, she kept in contact with us before the tour and was very informative during the tour plus very friendly.

A new modern high-rise building in Harajuku, Tokyo.
  • Harajuku is a must-visit for a taste of Japanese youth culture.

  • The area is home to a rainbow of shopping opportunities, as well as many bars and restaurants.

  • Cat Street offers a more sophisticated shopping alternative to Takeshita-dori, and its Tadao Ando–designed Armani Casa building is a must-see for architecture enthusiasts.

  • The sprawling Laforet department store is a good option for getting all of your shopping done under one roof.
