Great tour of Taipei
Great private tour with Benson. Prompt pickup from Keelung cruise terminal. Saw all the major sites for Taiwan. Benson suggested a small change in the shopping area that we visited and it suited us better than the original one recommended. We were also able to add a short stop at a speciality bakery in the itinerary. Would definitely recommend Benson again.

Great trip to Shifen and Jiufen
Roger picked us up at hotel and first stop was Shifen. We released lanterns and it was fun. Next stop was Golden Waterfall. Last stop was Jiufen. We went to Xiahai City God temple first. Roger explained the history of the temple, how to worship the gods by burning ghost money in a furnace - very interesting. We visited the old street and he helped us communicate with all the vendors. The highlight was tea at A-Mei tea house. Roger got us a seat on the edge with a beautiful view. We also went to the old theater. I would recommend this tour especially with Roger.

Well paced and informative old town walking tour
A well paced tour for all ages which provided two toilet stops along the way. Leo gave a quick history rendition and explained the significance of the old town. The walk was flat and took 21/2 hours. Highly recommended for a tourist who wants to have an introductory understanding of the history and social fabric of Taipei. Thank you Leo!

Our tour guide Vincent...
Our tour guide Vincent was awesome! He was genuinely friendly and quickly made friends with our kids, making sure they were engaged and having a good time. He catered the trip to our interests, never rushing us off to the next spot just for the sake of checking off a list. Like coffee? Ok, there's a place you have to try. Need more time shopping? No problem, take your time. Vincent knows Taiwan like the back of his hand, but he shared his knowledge in a way that made it fun and engaging. We couldn't have asked for a better time in Yehliu and Jiufen. Make sure to ask for Vincent!

Private driving tour
We had an excellent full-day private driving tour of Taipei and highly recommend it. Our guide Eddy was professional, friendly, fluent in English and knowledgeable, and made the entire day enjoyable and stress-free.
He showed us a mix of major highlights and local spots, shared interesting history and made sure everything was comfortable and well-paced. It was an excellent way to see Taipei in a short amount of time.

Wonderful experience
Amazing tour , we really had the chances to discover the highlights of Taiwan . Alan Chou and the driver are the perfect team and really put efforts in order to make their hosts the most conformtable possible. The tour is a great mix between self discovery and guidance . The hotels are top notched .

This private tour was...
This private tour was such a great experience! My review is based on the itinerary, the guide, and the value of a private tour.
Itinerary: We knew we wanted to see some of these sights outside of Taipei, and it was arranged quite well to fit in a lot in a compact day without ever feeling rushed. There was also quite a bit of flexibility built in to the agenda. We felt like we saw touristy sightseeing spots without feeling like they were simple, shallow hops.
Guide: A was hands-down amazing, and we’d gladly book & request her again in the future. My parents already have future trips to Taiwan planned and will be booking through this company and guide again. A was an extremely efficient and smooth driver, despite the rain, the winding mountain roads, and bits of traffic. She had plenty of professional commentary to share about the sites, extended extra courtesy and hospitality to my elderly parents (age 78 & 80), and we even had great conversations about coffee, food, and nutrition. We were also impressed by her ability to comfortably float between English, Taiwanese, and Mandarin to accommodate our various levels of language proficiency. Really couldn’t recommend An higher.
Private tour: This is really the way to go, especially to preserve the magic of a family vacation. Memories, comfort, and experience are worth the investment, if you can afford it. Highly recommend it, especially for such a long day of travel.

Top Notch Service
After exiting baggage claim, my private driver was at the designated area for passenger pick up service.
He had a board up with my name written on it.
I approached him. We greeted and he led me outside to a designated place to wait while he went to get his car.
His vehicle was a clean comfortable minivan.
He loaded my 2 luggage and we headed to my hotel. He gave me a bottle of water as I was seated.
As we were riding along, he pointed out areas we were passing and made suggestions of places to visit in accordance to my interests, as well as places to eat, night markets info, etc.
When we arrived at my hotel, he unloaded my bags and gave me a Taipei map of undiscovered places, in English and the native language guide, and a guide to Muslim friendly travel.
I was very pleased with my experience with this company and my private driver.

Unforgettable Experience
This is easily one of the best tours or experiences I’ve ever been on in any country. Vicky had so much information and brought us SO to many incredible spots to try local specialties, providing recommendations for each and helping us to order. We learned and ate so much, and all for less than $10 USD per person. This tour simply cannot be missed!

Our tour guide Alex was...
Our tour guide Alex was great, friendly, spoke excellent English and looked after us through the day. We got to the yehliu geopark before the crowds too which was awesome so managed to get some pics of the queen's head before the hordes arrived
Would love to spend more time in each of the locations but that will have to wait for our next trip, this was still a great day trip to the north of Taipei

A Wonderful Last Day in Taipei
I had an absolutely wonderful day with Charlotte. It was my fourth and last day in Taiwan, and she took me to many places and I hadn't seen yet, and encouraged me to try the things I'd heard about but didn't know where or how to try. So we had tea eggs (hard boiled eggs marinated in tea) a type of fruit I've already forgotten the name of, and various nut and sesame and tea infused treats. We went to a traditional market, and I got to ask all my many questions, mostly: what is THAT? I have traveled in Asia before, to Japan and Singapore and Indonesia, but it was a luxury to ask all my questions. We went the beautiful Grand Hotel built by Chaing Kai-shek to receive his guests, and also to a lovely smaller temple, My favorite thing was that we went to a tea house to have traditional Taiwanese tea. The Makong Gondola was closed for maintenance this week, and there wasn't enough time to go up the mountain, but Charlotte found me a tea house in town. It was very soothing to have the tea demonstration and then sit and enjoy it. I highly recommend the experience. I also highly recommend this tour and Charlotte!
