What are people saying about Split

Great excursion!
Captain was young but very knowledgeable He was adaptable to the change in the weather conditions to keep us safe Meeting place was easy to find and just as described Missed our first scheduled excursion due to the poorly designed system of finding/ boarding the boats at the dock given the large area and large number of boats coming and going Appreciated the actual physical signage / meeting spot this experience had

Great tour
Fully enjoyed this tour. Guide Ivana was very knowledgeable and a great communicator. She was funny and entertaining. It was a long « half day » tour. 930-330 with a fair bit of walking but not strenuous at all.
Split and Trogir were both beautiful and we loved the tour.

A Split Second in Croatia
The Viator meeting instructions were excellent, and the guides were very easy to find at the port. Communication before the tour was clear and made for a stress-free start.
We visited Trogir first, followed by Split. Trogir is a pleasant town to explore, with narrow stone streets and a scenic waterfront. There had been wildfires on a nearby island the night before, but that did not impact our visit. The itinerary included about an hour of free time in Trogir, which felt like more than we needed. I would have preferred a shorter stop there and to have been dropped off a little closer to the cruise port on the return.
In Split, the guided walk through Diocletian's Palace (visiting all gates) provided a good overview of the history before free time to explore independently. It was interesting to see how the ancient Roman palace has become part of the modern city, with restaurants, shops, and homes integrated throughout the historic walls.
Our tour ended up with only two guests, so it felt like a private tour. Judita and Silvio were generous with their time, enjoyable to talk with, and happy to answer questions throughout the day without making the experience feel rushed.

Excellent food and information tour of the city.
Marina did an excellent tour on this tour. She was friendly, informative, and encouraged the group to ask questions. She provided lots of great information about Split and I had no idea of the city's history so it was fun to listen to her description of Split's past. We ate exceptionally well, too! Highly recommended and thank you Marina!

A Great day on the water!!
Great crew Claudia was great as well as out Captain. Beautiful day on the water, we were very satisfied with our outing to the Blue lagoon and the beach time, didn't really see the reason to visit the village though, there wasn't anything there to spend the time we were there, maybe 20 minutes would have sufficed

Best boat trip ever
This was, without a doubt, one of the best tours I’ve ever done in Europe. 🇭🇷✨
From start to finish, everything was perfect. Marin and Luka were absolutely amazing hosts, the music created the best atmosphere, and we had plenty of time to truly enjoy every stop without feeling rushed.
The scenery was simply breathtaking — crystal-clear water, hidden gems, and views that looked straight out of a postcard. 🌊💙
If you’re visiting Split, I can’t recommend this experience enough. It’s one of those memories I’ll be talking about for a very long time.

Incredible tour! Highly recommend
I had one of the most amazing days on this trip. I travel a lot and do a fair amount of guided tours like this. Oftentimes I feel like I don't have enough time at each location, but that was not the case here. We had a perfectly sufficient amount of time in Mostar. I had time to see all of the sites, do shopping, eat lunch, and do the coffee experience recommended by the local guide. We also had sufficient time at the waterfalls which were beautiful. BiH was very safe and everybody was very nice. The guide and driver were both great, even with all of the stress of crossing the border (new EES with the EU means everything takes a very long time). There was a family on our tour who did not have the correct visa and had to go back to Split and couldn't leave the EU, so if you are not from somewhere with visa-free access, this is probably not the tour for you. I am from the UK and everyone else was Australian, American/Canadian, or British, and no one else had any problems.
If you choose this trip, my only piece of advice would be to bring at least €50 in cash notes, in addition to what you have to bring when you check in for the tour for the border crossing. BiH is very, VERY cheap and takes the Euro, but everywhere only takes cash. I didn't know this and I only had about €35 on me. Since it was only me, I spent about €15 for the whole day (for all food and souvenirs), but for a family this would probably be about €50 total. I was slightly worried I wouldn't have enough when I got there. Mostar did have 2 ATMs, however, I think the exchange rates are better in Croatia and I don't think those ATMs dispensed Euros, and it's not like you can use the extra KM when you get back to Croatia. So just bring a sufficient amount cash money in Euros with you and you'll be fine.
My only other recommendation is be aware of the season when you book. I did this tour at the end of May and it was already over 30 degrees in Mostar. It is one of the hottest cities in the Balkans and temperatures exceed 40 or 45 in the late summer. I can also imagine Mostar might be overrun with tourists and that combined with the heat might not make for the most enjoyable day. Do your research and plan ahead, and maybe pass on this if you're visiting in July or August if heat is a concern. If you're in April/May/June or Sept/Oct, absolutely book this tour.

Do it!
Plitvice lakes is a must if you are visiting this area. (Zagreb or Split). We joined the tour from Split. a long day but really worthwhile. The park is stunning. Both our bus driver Igor and guide Barisa (Barry) were excellent.
Barry regaled us with stories all day and very interesting historical and ecological information regarding the lakes. He guided the group with enthusiasm and patience. I would highly recommend this trip and thank you Barry for a great day.

Ivanka was a fantastic guide!
Great way to get a feel for Dubrovnik. The road from Split is a stunning route. Stop off en route and on the way back was a nice break. Very busy even for October! Ivanka made the trip. Her passion for Croatia is infectious and we felt well looked after and welcome. Thank you

Blue Lagoon and 3 Island Tour
This is a fantastic tour if you love being on the water and speed boats. It far exceeded our expectations. It was a boat that only took about 12 people and had a padded area in the stern for sunning. We stopped at a beach, then the blue lagoon for swimming and then to Trogir for lunch. Everything was breath taking. I would highly recommend this tour.

Beautiful Day Exploring the Croatian Islands
Our family loved this tour. The day we were scheduled for was a bit choppy on the water, we were advised the blue caves was a no go. We're getting refunded so no biggie. We still enjoyed the day and met some awesome people on the excursion. Lunch was delicious & drinks were flowing all day :) Thank you to the crew for an amazing day!
