The guide and the driver (forgive me, I can't remember their names) were utterly brilliant. We had an excellent day, run smoothly between stops with excellent views and well organised. Sadly the border crossing was not as simple as expected, nearly 3 hrs of time in total trying to get through. But the guide was helpful and we could tell he was also irritated by the delays.
The local guide in Mostar was brilliant. Very knowledgeable and cheerful. The city was pretty but super busy, highly recommend doing in spring, could be awfully busy and sweaty in summer. Also, almost everyone is cash only which can be an issue.
Highly recommend bringing a large amount of euros. We had enough to cover the waterfall/tax but only a further €50 which was not enough.
Was it worth it 110%, a truly excellent day! I would do it again in a heartbeat.

The towns we visited were super pretty! It was however high season so Mostar was very crowed and difficult to move around. The guide was however super knowledgable and taught us a lot about the History of the Balkans, which I appreciated.
A brilliant day out seeing another country, learning about the history of it (both recent and centuries ago) through the tour guide and walking guide at Mostar. Mostar old town is busy but beautiful.
The experience was amazing The Tour Guide was very good. He always checked on everyone to make sure that they were comfortable and or if they needed anything. There were a few negative. In the description, they should definitely tell you that no one takes credit cards mostly only euro. For the waterfalls, they really need to advise to bring water shoes. This Tour is not good for anyone with any type of mobility issues. No stops were very hard to walk on surface. My last suggestion would be air-conditioning on the bus was very poor. Other than that I would highly recommend this Tour, but they should just really prepare you to make your experience better.
Booked for a certain date only to turn up at 6:40am on the day to be told my booking is for another date, even though my ticket clearly showed the correct date. It appears amending a booking via Viator doesn’t update the actual tour companies record.
We ended up going on the tour on another date. Frustrating booking experience. The tour itself was great with a good host
The tour guide Boran was amazing, he was so well informed about everything, I understand that this is a job but he is doing more than what a tour guide is supposed to do. He was interacting with everyone asking about where we are from and where we are heading next and of course giving his personal but objective opinion. He was talking about everything from music, sports, food, etc. I think he was talking for at least 80% of the time that we were on the bus. It’s like going in a field trip with a Professor of history on board. The bus ride it self was already worth the money we paid for the trip.
Philip our walking tour guide in Mostar. Again first impression is not true, Boran introduced us to a skinny guy to walk us around Mostar for 1 hour. I thought will be just a typical tour until Philip started speaking and waving his hands. We can see and hear his passion on what he does.
So far the best tour we’ve been into. My 17 year old Son agree, my wife agree.
You need to experience this to really know both Boran and Philip.
We had great weather and the ride was nice the two guides very very knowledgeable and Mostar is a must to see
The company staff were very good and supportive throughout the trip. However, the planning of the stops could have been better. Two stops would have been sufficient, and there was no real need to visit the town of Počitelj. There are no major attractions there and very few restaurants, so it felt like a waste of time.
The other two attractions — Mostar and the Kravice Waterfall — were excellent and well worth visiting. However, the time allocated at Kravice Waterfall was not enough to fully enjoy the location.
The tour experience was really great - well organized and efficient in how it was handled going across boarders. I applaud Laura (tour guide) for how well she got us through the boarder checkpoints.
All the places that we stopped were beautiful and felt that we were given so many pointers on what was the best things to do at each stop and local recommendations. Love that.
Only feedback is that in the details for the tour, it would be helpful if there were guidance given on what to wear and bring in regards to swimming and footwear. As Mostar was really slippery and then going to the waterfalls - it would have been helpful to have the understanding of expectations in footwear.

Bruno and the driver (forgot his name) were awesome. Everything went smoothly and punctual. Bruno provided great suggestions about the places to visit in Bosnia & Herzegovina. He worked very efficient at the border crossing.

I would personally not recommend this tour. While I got to check out another country I did not think the price and time was worth it. While you get to see everything that was advertised the tour is a bit misleading. First stop was super short and there was not enough time to do anything that was recommended and seemed like a waste. The guide in Mostar was great however after only a 30 minute tour you’re are on your own for the rest of the time. While they say some places take card I would highly recommend bringing lots of cash and I didn’t find a single place for lunch that took card. While I do appreciate the smoothness that this tour provided at the border crossings, there was a lack of information about where to get water and use the bathroom which I feel are important things in +36 degree weather. Finally while you get to spend 1hr at the waterfall most of this time is spent walking up and down the stairs to get to them and does not give enough time to swim in my opinion.
What a fantastic tour! Even in the European record heat wave, I thoroughly enjoyed my day in B&H. All the stops were so rich with history and culture. The bus was comfortable and ready with the A/C when we boarded. The process of going through customs & border patrol was smooth thanks to our guide, Josip.
Some things that travelers should know about this. We spent two hours on the way home at border. TWO HOURS. There was no communication from the driver or the tour guide as to what was going on. The way there only took about an hour, but it’s absolutely ridiculous to be spending two hours sitting on a bus with no communication from the tour guide as to what’s happening. Also, this was very poorly planned. It was a very hot day out, so everyone was drinking a lot of water, and we spent two hours at the border, and then another hour and a half to get back to split. There were no bathroom brakes so close to four hours on the bus and no one offered us the opportunity to get off to go to the bathroom. Everyone was very uncomfortable. The bus bathroom did not work. The first stop on the tour was a complete waste of time. We were disappointed that we spent one of our days on vacation on this tour. The only actual tour part was about 45 minutes with a tour guide. Effectively you’re just paying for transportation.
A long but worthwhile day. Great tour guide and driver. Mostar definitely worth a visit as is the Haji-Ali’s Mosque.

While it is a long day, the bus is comfortable to nap on as you ride along. The weather is warmer than in Croatia so prepare accordingly. Also, bring Euros as cash with you as most places in Bosnia do not accept card payments.
I had one of the most amazing days on this trip. I travel a lot and do a fair amount of guided tours like this. Oftentimes I feel like I don't have enough time at each location, but that was not the case here. We had a perfectly sufficient amount of time in Mostar. I had time to see all of the sites, do shopping, eat lunch, and do the coffee experience recommended by the local guide. We also had sufficient time at the waterfalls which were beautiful. BiH was very safe and everybody was very nice. The guide and driver were both great, even with all of the stress of crossing the border (new EES with the EU means everything takes a very long time). There was a family on our tour who did not have the correct visa and had to go back to Split and couldn't leave the EU, so if you are not from somewhere with visa-free access, this is probably not the tour for you. I am from the UK and everyone else was Australian, American/Canadian, or British, and no one else had any problems.
If you choose this trip, my only piece of advice would be to bring at least €50 in cash notes, in addition to what you have to bring when you check in for the tour for the border crossing. BiH is very, VERY cheap and takes the Euro, but everywhere only takes cash. I didn't know this and I only had about €35 on me. Since it was only me, I spent about €15 for the whole day (for all food and souvenirs), but for a family this would probably be about €50 total. I was slightly worried I wouldn't have enough when I got there. Mostar did have 2 ATMs, however, I think the exchange rates are better in Croatia and I don't think those ATMs dispensed Euros, and it's not like you can use the extra KM when you get back to Croatia. So just bring a sufficient amount cash money in Euros with you and you'll be fine.
My only other recommendation is be aware of the season when you book. I did this tour at the end of May and it was already over 30 degrees in Mostar. It is one of the hottest cities in the Balkans and temperatures exceed 40 or 45 in the late summer. I can also imagine Mostar might be overrun with tourists and that combined with the heat might not make for the most enjoyable day. Do your research and plan ahead, and maybe pass on this if you're visiting in July or August if heat is a concern. If you're in April/May/June or Sept/Oct, absolutely book this tour.
It was a pleasure to take this Mostar and Herzegovina tour with Kravica waterfalls. Everything was well organised and Ivan and Barry ( guide & driver) did a wonderful job. Extra guide in Mostar was a nice surprise and he did a good job.

It was an excellent day out, our guide was very informative and the border crossing smooth.
Our first stop was the small settlement of Capljina, classified as an open air museum.
Next Mostar, the local guide gave us a brief history of the town, with its muslin, catholic and orthodox communities living side by side. The 16th century Ottoman “old bridge”, was destroyed in the Bosnian war in 1993 and later rebuilt to its original architectural wonder using local materials.
Our last stop Kravice Waterfall, a beautiful but overcrowded spot.

Excellent day trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina from Split. Each stop was worth the time it took. Our full tour guide, Laura, and our Mostar guide, Anna Maria, were absolutely a pleasure. The check in process at the Gray Line office was a bit chaotic (three tours departing at the same time is not ideal) so plan accordingly!
Our tour guide was very informative and the temperature was lovely. We met Phillip in Mostar and he was another tour guide who was incredibly knowledgeable. Mostar is absolutely beautiful and has many things to do such as boat trips and the kravice waterfalls were lovely to see and even better to have a swim in if you are feeling brave enough! The only issues we had were that a lot of places on the way charged us to use the toilet so make sure to carry some change! Getting across the border also took a lot of time and the first stop we visited, there wasn't much there and seemed a little unnecessary . But we would definitely recommend the bell tower in mostar to get incredible views of the city and seeing the waterfalls!

Mostar was really interesting and worth the visit. Our tour guide, Bruno, was great but the local tour guide in Mostar took a long time on what was a hot and busy day. Would have preferred more free time in Mostar. Border controls took a lot longer than expected so be to wait!

I done this trip today. Weather great, tour guide(Bruno) and driver great, Mostar great, Kravica waterfall ok seen better in truth.
What was not so great was the 3 hours having to get off the bus for border crossing you have been warned. The bus itself didn’t have very good air conditioning, hand rails for aisle seat or seat belts.
Overall I will be glad I done it just to tick a box to say I have been to Bosnia Herzegovina however if I knew about the border crossing requirements and the 14 hours having day I would have given it a miss.

This tour was excellent. Peter was knowledgeable and funny and also very thoughtful. We saw some amazing places and he was very flexible with our small group.
Great tour. Mostar is very crowded as the main street is very narrow for the number of visitors, but we enjoyed it none the less. We ate at a restaurant in Mostar which was delicious, an extremely generous portion and very reasonably priced. The waterfalls afterwards were very beautiful. Long but satisfactory tour.
Absolutely brilliant tour. The guide was wonderful and so were all the locations. Really recommended.
