This was a 5 hour tour of Santorini with ability to customize the experience. OUTSTANDING tour! Dimitris was our guide and EXCELLENT. Truly knowledgeable, friendly, professional, engaging. Very safe driver. We enjoyed him immensely! Our chosen itinerary was a visit to Fira (we were staying in Oia, pickup there included with drop off later, seamless!), Church of the Three Bells, on to Akrotiri archeological site- well worth the €20 ticket). We spent a hour there. Then on to black sand beach, the Monastery of the Prophet Elias (highest point on Santorini, beautiful), finished with glass of one at Santo Winery with a little charcuterie. We could not have enjoyed this tour more. Dimitris knows this island well and has any variety of sights and places to customize your tour anyway you wish. We loved that. It has high marks on Viator by reviewers and no wonder why now. We are from USA and Dimitris spoke English fluently and clearly. I think we can be tough critics most of the time in these types of tours, but this hit all the marks. Hope you enjoy it too!

Makis was an outstanding tour guide! He was kind, knowledgeable, and shared fascinating insights about Santorini and its rich history. He was flexible with our plans, made the day feel relaxed and personalized, and even arranged a fantastic lunch at a beautiful beach spot. He kept us refreshed with bottled water throughout the tour and did a wonderful job engaging everyone in our group, from the youngest to the oldest. We had an amazing experience and highly recommend Makis to anyone visiting Santorini!

Come prepared & it will be amazing! Walking up the volcano? Wear good walking sandles or shoes (Worth the 5 euro!). Don’t want to buy snacks or water? Bring your own stash. Wear your suit, jump in the water! Dinner is delicious, but don’t expect it to be piping hot..you’re on a boat, remember. It’s buffet and you’re welcome to second servings of food & drink during dinner. Crew is fun, kind and keep you safe. It was a great time!!!!

I cannot share enough positives about the experience we received from our tour of Santorini provided by Kallisti Private Tours. While most passengers on our cruise ship were displeased with their tour experience provided by the cruiseline, it was our favorite experience over two weeks in Greece. Theodore, our driver, was extremely informative, engaging, and knew how to navigate the city in efficient ways and avoid big crowds and long lines. We hit all of the typically crowded tourist areas before the crowds, took a fabulous winery tour and tasting, shopped where the Greek pottery is actually made, and ate at a great restaurant on the beech. Our deepest gratitude goes to Theodore and Kallisti Private Tours for a day of special memories. We give them our highest recommendation without reservation!

If we could give Petra Kouzina more than 5 stars, we absolutely would! This cooking class was worth our entire trip to Santorini. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed like family. George and Paula are truly incredible people whose passion, vision, and love story shine through in every aspect of the experience. The food was beyond amazing—authentic, fresh, and some of the best we had during our time in Greece. But what makes Petra Kouzina so special is that it’s much more than a cooking class. It’s an unforgettable experience filled with laughter, culture, connection, and genuine hospitality. You can feel the heart and soul that George and Paula have poured into creating this experience, and it shows in every detail. We cannot recommend it highly enough. If you’re visiting Santorini, this is an absolute MUST DO. Seriously—if you skip Petra Kouzina, you’re missing out on one of the best experiences the island has to offer. We were on a 6 hour tour with Sara who was a wonderful tour guide! She asked us what we wanted to see while in Santorini, so of course we said the views. Sara knew all of the best places for gorgeous views! We saw Fira, Oia, and some smaller local villages. We also had lunch at a local restaurant at the black sand beach which was delicious, especially the fresh fish.

A great overview of the major areas of Santorini, seeing the major sites of interest with a very knowledgeable driver / guide.George, our Driver was a superb guide & because my wife & I are in our 80’s & slower walking, he often assisted my wife in negotiating the steps involved- a great and thoughtful help.

We enjoyed an exceptional and picturesque tour of Santorini, and our driver and guide Angelo significantly enhanced our experience by collecting us from the airport. The tour comprehensively covered the entirety of the island, with Angelo leading us to all prominent attractions and optimal photography locations. This included a guided walking tour of Oia, which is accessible on foot or by donkey, and he introduced us to an excellent gelato establishment. Angelo provided clear explanations throughout the journey, and the walking tour at the Akrotiri Archaeological Site was particularly noteworthy. The tour was characterized by numerous highlights, all experienced without undue haste, and concluded with a mid-afternoon meal at the stunning Perivolos Beach, at Angelo's recommended restaurant, Forty one 41, situated on the beach's edge. While the tour's quality is contingent upon individual participation, a skilled & engaging tour guide such as Angelo undoubtedly renders it unforgettable, and we extend our gratitude to him for creating lifelong memories.
