What are people saying about Santiago de Compostela

Beautiful Way to End Camino Walk
The tour guide spoke in Spanish and then English for the entire trip. She was interesting and informative without being overbearing so there was time to just enjoy the scenery. She had a sense of humor and a very pleasant manner
It felt like a perfect amount of time and each stop. I never felt rushed nor that I just had to stand around and wait
The only down side is not the tour operators fault, but a fact of nature to just be aware of. Some of the road is a little winding and after lunch I felt a tad of motion sickness. If you are prone to this I would suggest some preparation
I’m truly glad I took the day for this trip

Lovely evening in Santiago de Compostela
This was a really enjoyable walking tour around the old streets of Santiago de Compostela with our wonderful guide, Alex. By the end of the evening we were replete with food, wine and a a better understanding of Galician cuisine and culture. At the conclusion of the tour Alex took us to a bar for some live music (this was an optional extra, not included in the tour). The musician on this occasion was James, a very talented guitar player who was joined for a couple of numbers by the owner of the bar who turned out to have a lovely singing voice. All in all, a lovely evening in Santiago.

This was a great tour !...
This was a great tour ! You see a lot of places but especially Finesterre and Muxia . It is a very long day but well worth it especially if you understand the significance of the Camino
and why so many pilgrims finish their Camino there . Our tour guide was David and he was great . The only negative is I felt we were rushed at Muxia. This is my second time doing this tour and David was a much better guide . Very informative and helpful. We went to the same place that was recommended for lunch and like before it was difficult to order our food . The staff was not particularly friendly, tho it was obvious they were overwhelmed.

Bringing history to life!
WOW! What an amazing experience! Ticiano, my Brasilego guide from WeGalicia was not only a wealth of knowledge but a compelling storyteller! He brought the history of the Cathedral de Santiago de Compostela to life. The rich history became tangible and meaningful thanks to Ticiano's ability to bring it to life!

End of the way
Good overview of town, cathedral & museum. Split into 2 tours led by 2 different guides. Somewhat confusing as we had prepaid and there were some that it seemed were going to pay what they thought tour was worth. It was reasonably priced and worth it.

Well worth the time
These tours are excellent to give depth of knowledge in what you are actually viewing. History, issues, church philosophy and decorum in the cathedral. Our leader was knowledgeable, personable, and caring of the comfort of all participants. I recommend this tour to people interested in doing more than just viewing.

Comprehensive and Fun!
Although it’s a nine hour day, there were plenty of stops, each different with interesting backstories, and with plenty of time to explore, eat, bathroom breaks. Our leader did a fantastic job explaining in both Spanish and English, each stop. She was personable, professional, knowledgeable and definitely help keep the day fun and on time. Also, thanks to our fellow travelers for adhering to our departure times at each stop. What a great way to see the coastline!

It is a wonderful trip. ...
It is a wonderful trip. The stops are all interesting and enjoyable.. It can feel bit rushed, especially if you are not near the bus door as sometimes I would have liked a little more time at each stop except lunch. We first went to the address for pickup then after hitting more details went to the hotel which was listed there, about six minutes away. Thankfully the tour guide called me on whatsapp ( sign up if you haven’t ) and told us wher to go. Her tip was increased for that.

Joyful trip to Finisterre and back to Santiago!
The trip is done via bus and in our case started at 9 in the morning and we came back at around 6 in the evening.
The guide (Pablo) was just great!
Always friendly and helpful. Told a lot about Galician history and also myths and stories....
I think this is the best way to come to Finisterre, when you don't have enough time to go by foot.
We were a little.... unlucky.... With the galician weather.... So mostly cloudy and rain. But still worth it!
Thanks a lot for the great adventure.

Great people make great experiences
Eunize is perfect for this job. She clearly loves her job, and is welcoming, informed, interesting and conversational. The tasting took place in a lovely little room in the back of one of the best cheese shops in Galicia. A perfect cozy spot to enjoy the wine and cheese combinations.

Great Day and Great Boat Ride!
Nice bus ride to location with explanation of sights around us. The boat ride was a great surprise with serving so many fresh mussels to eat! Music and wine and lots of fun! Saw the farming of the shell fish. Went to another small town by the water with free time to walk and have lunch. Stopped at a very nice winery and tasted Alborino wine. It was delicious and we bought a bottle. It was a very nice excursion!
