    Rias Baixas

    Donald_M, Sep 2025
A very enjoyable day out & Noelle our tour guide was exceptional. Great fun & lots of information provided about the area

    We loved it!

    Julie_M, Sep 2025
Amazing experience! A wonderful way to see and experience the area! Our tour guide, Noria, was knowledgeable and great fun! The boat was our favorite part, so be sure to include. Would highly recommend!

    Lots of fun!

    John_T, Jul 2025
All aspects of this tour were great. The bus ride was very comfortable. All the things we did were fun. The mussel boat ride was great. Do not miss that. Nora our guide was very informative and very fluent in English.

    We had a great time...

    Lori_G, May 2025
We had a great time visiting a family vineyard and traveling down to the coast. The scenery was beautiful! The highlight of the day was going on the mussel boat and eating unlimited mussels and drinking unlimited white wine! We sat with a group of twenty something year olds and had a blast! By the end of the boat ride it started raining and all the people on the boat were dancing in the rain to music and having a great time! I can’t remember the name of the last town we went to but it was charming. It was built up over the water with small alleys that all peaked out to the sea! There were beautiful shops and tavernas, but unfortunately for us, it was pouring so we had to run through the alleys with our umbrellas to the shops and restaurants and were not able to really appreciate the beauty.

    Excellent guide

    Sheila_T, Oct 2024
Wine tasting. Atlantic coast chapel. Our guide Noria was excellent. Shetold excellent stories and was very well informed.

    Not for non-Spanish speakers

    Dage_S, Oct 2024
I don't recommend for English-speakers as it's not really worth it in this case. The guide had very good English and gave explanations in both languages, but in the winery I only got a very short and poor overview and on the boat there was no English information. The mussels were great, though.

    Unexpected Fun with unique experiences!

    Kristine_G, Oct 2024
This was a very unique and fun tour! I loved the history, wine tasting, mussel boat tour was a highlight. Our guide Noel was great! I recommend this tour company of others.

A Fun Boat Tour But Rest of Tour Was Too Long And Unnecessary

    nicoletattersall, Oct 2024
Noel was an amazing tour guide - patient and gave us great information in both Spanish and English. The portion of the tour on the boat was great - the mussels were so delicious and very plentiful. I also enjoyed the short winery tour. The other parts of the tour were less fun. The day was very rainy and windy and it was hard to enjoy the portions that were outside. Also, we were taken to a festival of some sort (not on the advertised itinerary) and just dropped off for 2 hours. There were tented areas but nowhere covered to sit down. There wasn’t much to do - we had just eaten a ton of mussels on the boat, so not many people wanted to eat anything. It was incredibly boring. This tour should have just been the wine house tour and the boat tour. That is enough. The other stops just seemed like they were trying to fill the day.

    Laura for the win!

    Dawn_D, Sep 2024
This was a lovey day trip. Although, I think too much is planned for this trip. The stop to take a picture at the viewpoint could have been better spent elsewhere. All in all we had a lovely time and truly truly enjoyed our guide, Laura who did a standout job explaining everything in both English and Spanish. Her inside knowledge of how wineries run was essential.

    Surprisingly great, highly recommended

    DianaYong, Aug 2024
We really enjoyed this tour, from the wine testing to all the stops at the beautiful towns of the Rias Baixas.. The boat trip was the highlight for us, it cannot be missed. Our tour guide, Noel, was very caring and made sure we had a great time.

    Don't miss the boat trip

    Tatjana_O, Aug 2024
Pleasant day that started with wine and mussels on a boat and ended with some more albarino wine. Our guide Noel from Galicia Travels was fun and informative.

A fabulous experience on this tour.

    Jacqueline_W, Jul 2024
This is an excellent excursion. The wine tour is a little short but informative. The wine sampling is also small, but that was made up for the abundance of mussels and wine on the boat trip. One piece of advice - pay the extra for the boat tour. This part of the trip was lots of fun. The second half of the day our guide took us to several towns/locations of particular local interest - a church covered in scallop shells, a beautiful beach where we learned about the variety of sea life and geographical location, and a beautiful town that is also a fishing port. I would take this trip again - the guide was knowledgeable and provided really good information throughout the tour.

    fun boat tour

    sarah_r, Jun 2024
The boat was great fun ,free wine and mussels. only one family winery with just one wine wouldn’t recommend for kids

    Excellent Tour

    Maria_B, Jun 2024
A MUST DO tour. Lucia was excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable! We thoroughly enjoyed the boat tour! So much FUN and lots of mussels and wine served. My favorite was throwing mussels to the sea birds. Music and dancing on the boat was a blast!

    Excellent day. Beautiful area

    Jackie, Jun 2024
The boat ride & mussel tasting were great. Having mixed Spanish & English was challenging. Seemed a lot more was said in Spanish.

Great scenery - not enough English explanation

    Sigrid_E, May 2024
What a beautiful journey. We loved the tour and the many charming towns we were able to see. We were disappointed that there was not more explanation given in English. The guide spoke at length in Spanish and gave very brief information in English - almost as an afterthought. The visit to the winery was entirely conducted in English which was a shame. It would have been helpful to have some written materials perhaps to hand out to the non-Spanish speaking guests.

    Wonderful your. Highly recommend

    Mary_J, May 2024
The boat ride was a lot of fun. There was plenty of wine and other beverages as well as all the mussels you could eat. The scenery was beautiful and we learned about farming mussels and scallops. The vineyard tour was informative and the wine was excellent. Our guide Anna was great.

    Outstanding day

    lebrpreston, Apr 2024
The mussel boat and wine tasting. The boat was so much fun. The scenery on the bus ride was beautiful!

Rías Baixas tour a little limited in time and information.

    myrlozada, Apr 2024
I would have liked to receive more information on the formation and the benefits of the “Rias” in the region and explore further the Rias in the boat. The trip was good but it tried to accomplish too much in a limited time; thus, not allowing to enjoy the visited towns at ease.

    Fun day

    Nicola_N, Nov 2023
Seeing three dolphins swimming near the boat whilst we were watching the mussel demonstrations. Music in the sunshine great atmosphere modern boat great shots of coffee liquors

One of the best trips I’ve had

    Lynne_W, Nov 2023
A fantastic day from start to end. Visit to the winery with wine tasting. A lovely family business growing the Albariño grapes. Then on to another visit to the soap factory area and a lovely church covered in sea shells. We went for the boat ride to see the mussel farms while eating unlimited mussels on the boat with unlimited wine. We even saw dolphins popping their heads up! Lucky to have sunny weather too. A stop for lunch then on to a delightful village called Combarra. The tour guide spoke perfect English and Spanish and was informative all day. Thank you. Thanks also to the driver of the minibus. A wonderful day out. Well worth it.

    Fab day out

    Marguerite_T, Nov 2023
Brilliant day out, value for money, lovely host and great driver, wine tasting great too, thank you.

    Exceptional / Super fun

    Jorge_E, Oct 2023
Experiencing the wine and mussels was great. The ride with all the explanation of the process how the mussels are extracted an who owns them was fascinating. Highly recommended as well as the guide Ana and her contribution was excellent. People started dancing and having a fun time.

    A Must for Seafood Lovers!

    Joanne_P, Oct 2023
I had a great time! The bus was super comfy and luxurious (USB charging ports and all). The tour guide is bilingual and she is attentive to us English speakers, even there are only three of us! We stopped by many scenic spots that I otherwise would have discovered. The mussels were delicious! The crew made sure your table was never without mussels :)

Disappointed that tour did not wait for me

    Wei_G, Jun 2023
It was a great pity and disappointment that the bus did not wait for me when I waited at the plaza Galicia pick up point at 9.55 am on Fri 02 June . I was there actually at 9.30 am and saw many people going for the Finisterra tour then I asked a lady guide and she said it’s for 10am even asked me to go take a coffee when I came back at 9.55 am I waited and waited no bus came nobody. Then I called Galicia travels who confirmed the us did not wait and left without me even though I booked abd cibfirned and paid . I’m a wine consultant and very interested in Albariño and Rias Baixas wines . But I will not have any more chance to visit because I come from Singapore so far away and the tour just decided to miss me . Totally irresponsible . What’s the use of giving me a refund . My name is Goh Khean Hooi

    Scenery was wonderful....

    Lynnette_R, May 2023
Scenery was wonderful. Combarro is very quaint, & mussels were delicious. Interesting, informative & fun.

Good tour to know the area

    eugeniacruiz, May 2023
Very good tour it takes you to the highlights of the region. The best part was the mussels! freshly steamed and delivered by the bucket!! I would have loved to explore more but the time was limited .
