Incredibly informative tour about the Cathedral, surrounding buildings and historic city. Delores our guide was charming, warm and engaging. She was so incredibly knowledgeable and so enthusiastic in informing us about the history, religion, architecture ,and culture of Santiago Del Compostela Cathedral and surrounding environs. Additionally she was so very gracious in acknowledging my faith based need to go to confession while touring the Cathedral . I/we found her and this experience extraordinary. Thank you so very much !

We had Sylvia as the main tour guides and Natalie who was training. We had a great time. Sylvia was very personable and knowledgeable and provided both personal and historical information regarding the different foods we tried. All the bars and restaurants we visited were excellent. Both Sylvia and Natalie were very kind patient and open. We had great conversations throughout the tour. We would highly recommend the tour and especially Sylvia and Natalie. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.

Irene is a fantastic tour guide. She was more than a guide, she was a host in a place she obviously loves. We were privy to secrets and interesting stuff which she delivered with just the right amount of flair and humor, reasons why we truly enjoyed learning more about Santiago de Compostela. She accommodated our queries and gave us loads of tips, mostly on food, noting that we are such foodies. The time with her flew by so fast and we were very grateful to have her with us even for a bit.

We did this the day following the Camino Inglis with Irena as our private guide. She was very informative and entertaining in giving us the history and legends surrounding the Catedral. She also had us paced ahead of other larger groups and it was at a good pace to see everything we desired.

It was a perfect private tour. Mari was phenomenal. She was kind, attentive, and extremely informative.
She shared themes that repeated themselves throughout the catedral, the museo and the town. Her English was very easily understood. She fielded questions with enthusiasm. She navigated the crowds expertly to maximize our time together. She allowed for bathroom stops, as needed.
She led us through historic Santiago to el Mercado de Abastos to end the tour. We purchased the most amazing chocolate truffles you can imagine, there! We highly recommend this private tour.
Note that El Portico de Gloria can be visited with a small fee for an additional ticket - but guides are not allowed to accompany visitors into El Portico. It’s worth the price (!!), but it would be helpful to do a little advance research to fully appreciate its beauty - only a concise paper guide in English or Spanish is provided at the entrance. It would be helpful for this company to note that when offering the extra ticket.

Our private 3 hour tour with “Mary” was wonderful. Definitely worth the early morning flight from Madrid!
She was fluent with the historical knowledge of Santiago and made her descriptions of artifacts and stories of the sites we visited come to life with lighthearted tales. Mary was animated and friendly, kept us moving but didn’t rush us from place to place, and answered all of our questions fully.
