WOWWWW hands down this was the BEST thing we've ever done! Not only was our host super kind and informative but he made the overall experience really something more people should be talking about. We did this on our first...

We did this on our first day in Costa Rica, and we had a blast. It's a long day, and they did a really good job of packing a lot in but not so much that you're exhausted. After being picked up, we went to a coffee plantation, stopped at a waterfall and a local soda for fresh juice, had a delicious lunch, saw Arenal Volcano and soaked for a few hours in some beautiful hot springs, and stopped by another soda for a delicious dinner. The van was spacious and comfortable, and our guides Steven and Bryan were friendly and really went out of their way to show us things we might have missed otherwise. We would absolutely do this day trip again!

If you are crunched the time and you want to have a little bit of everything in one excursion, this is a really good excursion. I got to see an active volcano, waterfalls, and the coffee tour was actually surprisingly interesting. I didn’t know a lot of things and I’m taking all this knowledge back home to make better coffee. Our tour guide kept us safe. And I had to take beautiful videos of the waterfall. I really connected with nature. Thank you so much for a beautiful care.

Paradise, at a price

the travel from San Jose can be difficult, whether by van or by bus, and the boat ride might be a bit jarring bouncing over the waves, but the 5 hour beach time is heaven. Be sure to bring sun screen and drink lots of water to stay healthy. Be prepared for an island paradise, really and truly.

Our guide and driver...

Our guide and driver (Nancy and Marvin) were wonderful and attentive. The mountainside is breathtaking and we visited and learned a lot about Central Costa Rica. One thing that I would like to advise, is that you need to add the travel time to the excursion time: this can take between 2-4 hours depending on traffic. It was quite worth it!

The waterfalls are...

The waterfalls are beautiful and paths are well maintained. There are elevation changes to see the different waterfalls, but good handrails everywhere. The wildlife refuge was great with many animals, birds, frogs, butterflies and serpents to see. A wonderful travel experience.

Amazing experience great staff at the adventure place. We did horseback and ATV. Although nothing on the company but the girl in front of us during ATV kept taking selfies and holding us up. Again nothing on the company but maybe restrict people from being on their phones during ATV. Again great place. Great customer service and attention detail. We had a blast.
