Top Rovaniemi Husky Dog Tours

Amazing trip outside Rovaniemi. Mika piked us up at Santa Clause village. After a ride of about 45 minutes we came to the husky camp. Everything was well prepared. The huskies were happy to run the trail. The instructions are easy to follow. After running (about 1 hour) was time to hug the dogs and get explanations about to handle huskies. We got a small barbecue and saw cute husky puppies. After that we were brought back to Rovaniemi. Thanks for this experience.

An absolutely amazing experience! The husky and reindeer tour felt like stepping into a fairytale. The forest ride with the huskies was the highlight for me, pure magic and something I’ll never forget. I was also lucky to be part of a beautiful, respectful group, which made the whole experience even more special. Everything felt well organized, peaceful and truly authentic. I will definitely remain with wonderful memories from this experience. Highly recommended! ❤️

This husky mushing experience was absolutely magical and one of the highlights of our time in Rovaniemi. From the very beginning everything was smooth and well organized — the shuttle was included, and even though it’s about a 40–45 minute drive outside the city, the location is 100% worth it. Snow everywhere, stunning views, and that peaceful Lapland atmosphere that feels unreal. What makes this tour truly special is that you actually get to drive the husky sleigh yourself, which is such an exciting experience (and honestly a little adrenaline too in the best way 😍). You also get plenty of time to pet the huskies, interact with them, and enjoy the whole setting instead of feeling rushed. As a huge dog lover, I really appreciated how well the team cares for the huskies. You can tell they are treated with love and respect — the dogs get proper rest, they’re well fed, and the overall environment feels ethical and professional. They also provide clear instructions to make sure everyone drives safely, and having a small group makes a massive difference — it feels more personal, calm, and enjoyable. To end the experience on a cozy note, they also offered snacks afterwards (sausages, cookies, and warm tea), which was the perfect way to warm up and just take in everything we had just lived. No “meh” moments at all. I would recommend this to anyone: couples, solo travelers, friends, families… it’s a must-do in Lapland.
