The husky sleigh ride in Rovaniemi was nothing short of enchanting! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and explained everything clearly. Gliding through the pristine snow-covered forests under the Arctic sky felt like stepping into a winter wonderland. The husky’s were gentle and well cared for, and the pace of the ride was perfect for soaking in the breathtaking scenery. We even had a chance to learn about the how to dogs lived throughout the year, which added a special touch to the experience. Warm drinks by the fire afterward were the perfect ending. Highly recommend this for anyone visiting Lapland—it’s pure magic!

Thank you for your review. Well. High season is full of people here in the farm, where a bit crowded and stuff there may not have chance for taking care of eveyone as everyday has lots of husky groups going there and doing the activity. But glad that you loved and enjoyed this experiece with our great Arctic huskies team🐶🐶 Wish you all the best💙💙💙

We thoroughly enjoyed this experience - the feeling of standing behind a sledge and getting to drive it is unparalleled! The tour started on time, and our guide was polite and informative. BTW. please note that while the tour includes winder overalls, it doesn't include boots.

Our small group was combined with a very large group and we could never really go very fast. I had my foot on the break the whole time because I was at the end of the line and someone in the front was very large and the dogs carrying him had to go very slowly. On the other hand, it is worth dog sledding in general (the dogs were great and it was beautiful). I wish we had done a private tour.

For Safety Reasons, every sleigh team has to control the speed and slower down if needed during driving. It is a small group of max 8 participants per minibus and however, it is not possible to have private husky Safari because there is also other groups from other companies for that time departure in the farm, which is quite normal in reality. Still thank you for visiting our great arctic huskies and had a great with them on the sleigh ride🌹🌹🌹Best to YOU.

The husky sleigh experience was amazing, I thought driving it would be so scary but turns out fine and fun. With the operator they provide winter clothes to ensure we are warm. In the end of the husky experience there is a QA session you can ask all the questions.

Great dogs and amazing experience but there was a mixup with the groups so there were too many of us which led to a slower and more annoying experience as you got held up by the people in front of you…. Also a big nono was the driver. On the way back he was calling and texting not looking at the road, don’t do that as a professional driver, it was dangerous and unresponsible…. Big minus

Super Organisation aber schlechte Huskyfarm Besitzer

Die Organisation Northern Future OY ist nur zu empfehlen. Wir hatten einen super Guide aus China der sich wirklich sehr bemüht hat und Mega nett war. Die Kleidung die man bekommt ist sehr gut und hält warm. Generell ist es gut geplant. Bei uns hatte es über Nacht unerwartet sehr viel Schnee und unser eigentliche Guide ist stecken geblieben aber es war kein Problem und wir hatten einen reibungslosen Ablauf. Bei der Farm angekommen wurde alles etwas chaotisch es ist dort nur darauf ausgelegt Geld zu machen. Der Schlitten wurde nur kurz erklärt und dann ging es los. Der führer ist mit einem Quad voraus gefahren und wir sollten hinterher. Das Problem des ganzen der Hundeschlitten vor uns hatte sehr schwache Hunde und es saßen drei Erwachsene und ein Kind darin. Domi haben die Hunde es nicht geschafft und der Mann der hinten gelenkt hat musste die ganze Zeit mittendrin. Sehr schade für die Hunde und ihn da er ja auch den vollen Preis gezahlt hat und danach echt nassgeschwitzt war. Für uns war es echt doof da unsere Hunde trotz ständigem auf der Bremse stehen immer an dem Schlitten davor vorbei wollten, da die viel stärker waren. Wir mussten somit nur bremsen was wirklich schade war. Als wir wieder bei der Farm ankamen und unsere Runde gedreht hatten (die keinesfalls mehr auf 4km war und nicht länger als 25 min dauerte) sagten der führer das es vorbei ist. Wir waren ganz entsetzt, da wir noch keine Fahrer getauscht hatten. Er sagte er hätte mehrmals gefragt und keiner hat gesagt er will tauschen. Jedoch wurde keiner aus unserer Gruppe gefragt. Nach langem disskutieren wurden wir damit abgespeist die Short Runde zu fahren also wir beide im Schlitten und einer von der Organisation hinten der gefahren ist. Immerhin etwas aber schade da wir beide fahren wollten und dafür gezahlt haben. Trotzdem war es ein Mega Erlebnis und der Guide von dieser Organisation hat uns bei allem geholfen. Immer wieder!
