What are people saying about Romania

Beautiful castles
Our guide Mario did a good job keeping all the participants in line. I think we had about 20 people in our group. I felt like he was giving attention of each one of us throughout.
He gave us a plenty of time at each location.
He was flexible and went above and beyond for those who needed extra attention.

An Amazing Hike with the Perfect Guide
We had the chance to do the Seven Ladders Canyon hike with Bogdan, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our time in Romania. He is incredibly knowledgeable, knows the forest like the back of his hand, and came fully prepared for everything, including the fact that this area is home to wild bears. His experience made us feel safe, comfortable, and well taken care of the entire time.
The hike itself isn't super difficult, but it's not a walk in the park either. There are ladders to climb and a moderate amount of hiking, so if you have mobility issues, it's worth talking to your guide beforehand about your limitations.
The best part? We started early enough to beat the crowds. We practically had the canyon and ladders all to ourselves, and as we were leaving, lots of people were just arriving. That alone made the experience so much more enjoyable.
The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, and if you're looking to spend half a day in nature doing something unique, this is it. We had an amazing time and would absolutely do it again.
And if you can, ask for Bogdan. He's exactly the kind of guide you want by your side on this adventure. Highly recommended! 🌲🥾🇷🇴

Great mix of nature and culture!
Our visit with Mihai was perfect! It was just what I’d hoped for - a mix of nature and enough city visiting that I felt like I’d visited a bit of Transylvania. Just what I wanted, plus a guide happy to flex when we wanted to stray a little from the strict itinerary. Lovely!

A must for anyone visiting Cluj!!
Can’t say enough about our day with Tudor.. Filled with knowledge and good vibes from beginning to end. If I were Romanian I would be proud that I have good people such as him as an ambassador for my country and Cluj. I was so glad to have his guidance as we explored the the mine in Turda as well as a breathtaking hike through the Gorge, and the visit to the nearby village of Rimetea and the Monastery of Archangel Michael was a sweet bonus. Highly highly recommend a day with him as it will paint Romania and Transylvania in a completely different view for anyone who attends. Many thanks

A fantastic day trip
If you only do one trip do this one. Our guide / driver Sebastian was the perfect guide as well as being an excellent driver. The day was well managed and every stop was interesting, lunch was in a spectacular setting and then to top it all, we saw six bears including a mother with her three cubs. The small group of five was perfect. Probably one of the best trips I have taken.

Great Experience.
After a discussion with our guide Beatrice we had already done Constanta and the Black Sea on the cruise ship we had just left and being extremely creative Beatrice decided we should see some of the mountains. She took us to Snow Island and to Peles Castle (?) which we absolutely loved. We had a delicious meal in a local restaurant which she highly recommended and saw the monastery’s which we found very interesting. We found that Beatrice’s knowledge of the area and Bucharest was extensive, she was delightful company and we had a thoroughly enjoyable day in her company. I could not recommend her more highly.

Our guide, Charlie, was...
Our guide, Charlie, was super personable and informative! We had a wonderful time exploring Peles, Bran, and Rasnov. The timing was great with plenty of time to stop for a coffee and breakfast. We also had time for a wonderful lunch with a view of Bran castle. We did a lot of walking so definitely wear comfortable shoes and bring some cash for vendors and shops. So glad we did this tour-a highlight of our trip!

Worth the Experience
Group of 19 people. Driver was already waiting for the people in front of the Hotel. Two hour drive to the Salt Mines, with 30 minutes stop in a gas station with a Luca Store. The driver, that identified himself as driver not guide, was really helpful and spoke english. We left on time. Arrived at 10:30. The mine is worth it. We left at 13:00. Around the mine and inside there are places to eat. We arrived to the city around 15h, since the group chose not to stop in the gas station.

Ask for Charlie!
What an AMAZING experience!! I have to say, this was the highlight of our trip! Communication on pick-up and time was fantastic. The best part? CHARLIE! What a RIOT. Charlie was an amazing guide, he had lots of stories to share and kept us in stitches. We walked 176 stairs to visit a church and grave site in Sighisoara - inside the basement of the church were tombs and during the story telling, there was a little surprise - I won't spoil the fun with the details but if you like to laugh - you'll love it! It was a great day - beautiful country side and I would highly recommend this tour! You will NOT be disappointed! Thank you, Charlie! We will always remember our day trip with you!

Must do experience in Brasov
I would highly recommend this tour. Our guide, Mimi, is highly knowledgable of the history of Romania and of all the castles we went to. She was very helpful with purchasing tickets and directing us on where to go. Overall it was a well paced tour with plenty of interesting facts about the history of brasov and the legend of dracula

Highly recommend
Toured with Florin, who was exceptionally knowledgeable. Castle Bran has a decent inclined path to reach the castle. Pelles Palace was the most beautiful castle I have toured ever. It is a must see and well worth the time. Interesting to see both in the same day. Florin did a flawless job of translating between two languages, but actually speaks four. He made our day entertaining and informative. We enjoyed this day trip very much. Also, the tour takes you on a winding mountain road with some start and stop traffic for parts of it. I took some dramamine-it would have not been pretty without it! Just a heads up to people who may have motion sickness!

One of the few places where you can see happy bears
Great place to see bears! They are a sanctuary helping bears and also educating people on the struggles of captive bears in Romania.
On our visit we've seen 25-30 different bears of different ages from little ones to full grown massive ones as well as deer, wolfs, and a fox.
