I had a fantastic...

I had a fantastic experience with Air Milford. Our pilot, Paul, made the flights incredibly smooth and gave us an excellent overview of the route and Milford Sound along the way. One of the highlights was getting to sit in the co-pilot's seat. Watching the takeoff and landing from the front was an amazing experience. The tour was very comfortable and well organized, with just 35 minutes of flying each way and a 1–2 hour cruise through Milford Sound. The combination of scenic flights and the cruise was perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better way to experience Milford Sound. Highly recommended!

From start to finish, this was a fabulous experience! The ship, and it's history made it unique. The dinner experience, especially the grilled meats, was the best that we've had in NZ so far. The sheep farming and shearing explanation was very informative and then came Mia and her remarkable demonstration of sheep herding, which was really something to see. We highly recommend this experience when visiting Queenstown!

We loved this cruise...

We loved this cruise across the lake, and the farm was a beautiful little corner of the world to visit. The steam ship had wonderful ambience and was such a comfortable way to take the journey, with a piano in the bar upstairs and a platform below to watch the steam engine in action. The scenery along the way was perfect, and arriving at Walter Peak farm the trend continued with picturesque buildings and gardens. We did a farm tour which included lambs, goats, donkeys, alpacas, sheep and highland cattle, and then enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea with plenty of tasty options and supported by highly attentive staff. The timing of the return journey was perfect and gave us a little bit of extra time to poke around by ourselves before returning to Queenstown. All in all a great day out.

Flight and cruise best option to get to Milford Sound.

All the staff were awesome, from the bus driver, the pilot, and the admin people. The flight was great, the views were amazing. We were lucky with the weather, it was perfect. The cruise was great. Saw dolphins and penguins. Lots of waterfalls due to earlier rain.

Fantastic experience

This was a wonderful trip. Amy, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, stopping at some wonderful locations on the way to show us the key sights. It was great to travel to Milford with a professional driver as we were able to concentrate on the views rather than the road. I would highly recommend this trip to others.

Absolutely stunning day

What a fantastic experience! I got to sit in the front (one of the benefits of being a solo traveller) and she asked if I wanted to hear all the transmissions from air traffic control/other aircraft, which was really cool! The scenery was SO stunning. The flights were definitely the highlight, although the cruise was incredibly cool as well (we saw dolphins and even a penguin!!) I also appreciated how proactive the company was, reaching out a couple days before and letting me know the weather wasn’t looking good, which gave me enough time to switch around my tours, and fortunately the day I’d switched to had good flying weather!

Milford Sound - Do not miss out!!

I could not recommend this specific tour enough, but what made it even more amazing than the views and beautiful scenery was our incredible guide, Robin. She was so knowledgeable about New Zealand, its history, its culture, geography, anatomy, you name it. I’m so thankful we had her as our guide. I would recommend this over and over again to anyone visiting this beautiful country!

After all the health and safety checks have been completed the real action began. After being geared up the plane ride to the jump takes about 15 mins which was a good ride with views of the lake and mt remarkable ranges. The jump it self takes about 5 mins till you reach the ground. I had a good instructor who made me feel calm. The free fall is so quick it finished before I could take it all in and the landing was so smooth.

Really great day out to Milford sound! Matt was a fantastic driver/tour guide, giving us great information throughout the journey. The boat around the fjord was great, some amazing views. Bus was comfy and well air conditioned - great music played too - thanks Matt! Defo worth the money!
