Pure Magic

This was absolutely one of the most luxe magical experiences of my life. Alee took care of us from the very beginning. There was soo much attention to detail and being treated like royalty the whole journey. We witnessed pristine weather, gorgeous landscapes, Dolphins, rainbows and more magic than we could have ever have dreamt of! Thank you for this most memorable day!!

Excellent tour

The tour was lovely. We stopped with an appropriate frequency to make it to Milford Sound. The cruise around the sound was indescribably beautiful. The service was great and food was delicious. Ash was an entertaining driver.

Business class Milford Sound trip

Seamless pick up at hotel. Coach was comfy and the ginger shots were a great morning starter. Our driver, Chase, was fantastic - friendly and knowledgeable. Plenty of stops for photos and breaks on the trip down to Milford Sound. Morning tea was lovely, freshly baked scones and orange cake, with barista coffees waiting for us. The boat cruise was great. Delicious champagne as we boarded and 5 (small) courses for lunch were lovely. The skipper stopped at waterfalls and for seal spotting during the 2 hour journey. The small details really made this a great experience. Highly recommend.

Great tour. Some issues with accommodating dietary restrictions

I quite enjoyed this tour and think it was worth paying for the business class experience. I went on Jan 21. I took the bus/van there and flew back via the fixed wing aircraft. Positives: 1. Tour guide/driver was excellent; really nice and informative. Don’t quite remember his name. 2. The bus/van was in great condition. Pillows and blankets were provided. 3. We stopped a few times to take pictures during the bus ride, which I appreciated. 4. The vessel appeared brand new and food/service were great. Negatives: 1. I requested milk free/dairy free food. On the vessel they did a good job of accommodating this across all courses. However, for breakfast they literally provided two small pieces of some sort bread/pastry. I thought this was ridiculous. People without dietary restrictions had access to a myriad of options. Given the price of the tour and the fact that after booking I asked multiple times whether they could accommodate my restrictions and they indicated they could, I’m unhappy with what was provided, and will be taking it up with Real NZ.

Milford Sound Business Class by Altitude tours was a true 5-star experience! Every detail from beginning to end was thoughtful and luxurious. The van is brand new, and amenities such as throw blankets, snacks, umbrellas and hot towels were provided throughout the day. Our guide Stewart was friendly, knowledgeable and informative. The boat, Sinbad, has beautiful new interiors, and the small group ensured plenty of space for each guest. The tasting menu, while delicious, offers small portions so I would suggest supplementing with breakfast at the stop in Te Anu. We opted for a helicopter return which was the experience of a lifetime. There are many other details I won’t take time to mention- trust that someone has put a lot of thought and care into making this a special day. As for Milford sound itself, I can’t do it justice in words. It’s one of the most spectacular things I’ve ever seen and we had a day we’ll never forget. Thank you Altitude!

Milford Sound Business Class is the only way!

Business Class is the best way to do Milford Sound hands down. It really is an exceptional experience, we lived it! We had a well appointed brand new purpose built Mercedes van with glass roof, which was lovely, blankets, pillows and a class above a tourist bus. We stopped for breakfast after 2 hours from a 7am pick up and our only real criticism, is that there should have been a more sustainable breakfast. We had preordered coffees waiting for us, which was a nice touch, and we got was nice but it needed to be more pastries, muffins, croissants, etc to fill. The refurbished vessel was amazing, very luxurious with an impressive fab bathroom. The specially curated tasting menu was exceptional and we had the matching wines, which were all lovely. The staff were amazing, friendly happy and made us all feel special. We had lovely weather, which really added to the day. The flight home was amazing and a must do! Would never do Milford Sound any other way
