A hidden park to see the kiwis!
This was a great little park where we got to see the endangered kiwi. It was fun to learn about them as well as quite a few other birds and reptiles. The park is hidden and can be accessed on the way to the Skyline gondolas. Easy walking distance from town center. We thought it was worth the time.

Great experience
Unexpectedly informative and enjoyable. I was surprised at the number of scenes shot in the area, & the guide was extremely knowledgeable & a great communicator. We were taken to a bunch of places without wasting time but without feeling rushed. It was also a great opportunity to see the area between Queenstown & Glenorchy. I would recommend this to anyone with even a minor interest in the Lord Of The Rings.

Not for the weak
Take every piece of equipment they offer - boots (make sure no holes), rubber pants, neck gator, gloves, helmet, googles. If you are uncomfortable on the practice track DO NOT drive by yourself or better yet don’t go at all. Definitely for fun adventurers not the faint of heart. Matt and Nico were great.

Best fun with the lights on!
If you're interested in a complete sensory overload experience, then this is the ticket for you! From the loud music, exhiliarating speed, great scenery, wind in your hair and face and the anticipation for the next on water "spin"... what's there not to like... The assistants in the check in were terrific when I had a minor issue with a quick upgrade to a 1 hour trip... fantastic customer service! Lastly, if you can try and get Pedro as your driver. You won't regret it!

Queenstown is known as New Zealand's adventure capital for a reason: The range of outdoor activities in Queenstown for travelers is as epic as its mountainous landscape. Thrill-seekers can participate in sports at the more extreme end of the spectrum—such as leaping into a gorge with just a bungee cord attached to your legs—while outdoor enthusiasts who prefer more gentle activities are catered to, too. Cruise the lake, take to the air on a scenic flight, take a hike, among other options.
