My family had so much fun out on the kayaks. It's worth the experience whether or not weather allows the bay to glow or not. The mangroves are beautiful to go through, and learning about the bio bay was interesting! I had adult children down to a 12 year old. I saw kids around four or five years old as well. Our entire group had a lot of fun! Would definitely do this again!

Fantastic El Yunque adventure!

We had a car so we were so glad to find this guide! Easy to meet up and drive ourselves into El Junque. Mike was very personable and did an excellent job making sure everyone had a great time. Definitely wear sneakers! Some in our group waited down below while we hiked up a bit of a rock scramble to a natural water slide (so fun!) then a 20’ cliff jump (took a bit of encouragement to do it - YOLO!), then a rope swing. This is such a unique place and a must visit. Would certainly book with Mike again.

The lagoon is very clear, although we did not see manatees, we saw turtles, iguanas, and star fish. This was a great, relaxing activity for everyone in our family, two adults, and two children, ages 7 and 16. The staff was super friendly and accommodating.

Super amazing experience! We had the best guides. Paola and I believe Laurie. They gave us the best adventure truly. This included 5 ziplines that ultimately built you up to ride the longest one at the end. During this time you had a small hike through the rainforest as they gave unique facts . I truly enjoyed this relaxing but also thrilling adventure. Small snacks and water provided at the end as well

Know Before You Go

Eli and Joel were awesome tour guides. They communicated with each other and with the guests very well! Safety first, fun a close second! We would do it again - be prepared to be VERY dusty. We did not drive through water or rivers. Bring your own scarf/face covering and goggles. Those are a MUST. If you buy them there they are pricey - but necessary. Plan ahead and grab them off Amazon!

A Must Do!

Our experience was amazing! William was our tour guide. He made us all feel like family. WEPA!!! He played good music on the bus, communicated clearly, and had personal conversations with my family about our Puerto Rican background. He gave great recommendations for food at Luqillo Beach. He was an all around great tour guide. The experience was longer than I anticipated because of all the transportation, however, I would not change a thing. Overall, the experience was great! I would do it again!

Don’t worry about having water shoes. Flip flops are a good option. You will need shoes to walk towards the water, but will be asked to remove them before loading into the clear kayaks. Any bug spray with Deet is a no, no because it hurts the environment. Walking into the water was mushy, so just a warning for those that are sensitive to that sort of thing. The kayaks are 2 person. When we finally got going, looking down at the glass bottom was fantastic. It glowed like glitter as we paddled out to the bay. We had our main guide in the front and another tailing the group.They were both super friendly and helpful. Our tail guide watched to make sure we didn’t float away. The tour was so educational. The guide spoke about the history and science of the bay, but also the stars in the sky. Absolutely beautiful experience! I highly recommend the tour for those that know how to use a kayak or it might be challenging to enjoy. Last note, you will get a bit wet when paddling out and back.

What an incredible experience! The Bio Bay Kayak Tour in Fajardo was one of the highlights of our Puerto Rico trip. From the moment we launched our kayaks, the guides were friendly, organized, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel comfortable and safe. Paddling through the mangrove channels at night was an adventure all on its own, and seeing the bioluminescence light up the water was absolutely magical. Pictures don't do it justice—you truly have to experience it for yourself. The guides were fantastic throughout the entire tour, sharing information about the bay and making sure everyone stayed together and had a great time. Their energy and enthusiasm made the experience even more memorable. We had an absolute blast and would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Puerto Rico. We had one of the best trail rides ever, and we have done many up and down the east coast of the US. Our leader, Angel, was very friendly, helpful, and a lot of fun! He pointed out a lot of interesting facts about surrounding nature as well as answered all of our questions! The 2nd guide Kevin was very friendly and helpful too. Horses were great and we had a great two hours! Highly recommend this place!

This was such a great experience with my family. I get nervous dancing in public and this was so much fun. It wasn’t so scary as I thought when I see professionals dance. Our instructor as god at giving instruction and made it so much fun my family and I were so surprised how well we did. Definitely a blast and would take this class again!
