Beautiful experience, a bit misleading with the time as you can only be underwater for 30 minutes at a time but an amazing experience. Leo, Zach, and Alonso were amazing instructors that were patient and thorough throughout our time. Will definitely recommend everyone visiting the island to give it a go for an unforgettable experience!

Our experience with Leonardo at Vieques Kayaks Mosquito Bay tour was very enjoyable. He was very friendly, humorous, kind, and knowledgeable. We were not only given a pleasant experience with kayaking all the way to the middle of the bay to experience the bioluminescence to its fullest , but also were given lots of information regarding the way it works. He also was able to point out multiple constellations and give us information on how the position and brightness of the moon would affect the glow we saw in the bay. Even though we went closer to a full moon, which makes it a little less bright, we were able to get the experience of what it would look like on a new moon night, as Leonardo provided us with a way to cover the moonlight and experience the bay as it would be on a darker night. This tour was a one of a kind experience and it was incredible to get to see the bioluminescent beauty of the bay and gain knowledge about how the phenomenon occurs from our guide.

Don’t worry about having water shoes. Flip flops are a good option. You will need shoes to walk towards the water, but will be asked to remove them before loading into the clear kayaks. Any bug spray with Deet is a no, no because it hurts the environment. Walking into the water was mushy, so just a warning for those that are sensitive to that sort of thing. The kayaks are 2 person. When we finally got going, looking down at the glass bottom was fantastic. It glowed like glitter as we paddled out to the bay. We had our main guide in the front and another tailing the group.They were both super friendly and helpful. Our tail guide watched to make sure we didn’t float away. The tour was so educational. The guide spoke about the history and science of the bay, but also the stars in the sky. Absolutely beautiful experience! I highly recommend the tour for those that know how to use a kayak or it might be challenging to enjoy. Last note, you will get a bit wet when paddling out and back.

Our ziplining adventure through the rainforest was absolutely incredible! Flying above the lush trees and taking in the breathtaking views made for an unforgettable experience. The entire team was professional, fun, and made us feel safe from start to finish. A special thank you to Luis, Mariel, Manuel, Xander, and Zabdiel for making the experience so enjoyable. They were knowledgeable, encouraging, and kept the energy high throughout the tour. Their attention to safety and friendly personalities made the adventure even better. If you’re looking for an exciting way to experience the rainforest, I highly recommend this ziplining tour. It was easily one of the highlights of our trip!

This was such a great experience with my family. I get nervous dancing in public and this was so much fun. It wasn’t so scary as I thought when I see professionals dance. Our instructor as god at giving instruction and made it so much fun my family and I were so surprised how well we did. Definitely a blast and would take this class again! Thank you so much for this AMAZING experience before heading back home!!

From start to finish our kayak adventure was an amazing experience. David, Javier, Eli, Amaury & Catalina were friendly, knowledgable & made us feel safe & comfortable. The water was beautiful! It was a relaxing & exciting experience. Equipment was clean & well maintained. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced kayaker, I highly recommend Pure Adventures. Can’t wait to come back again!

Anya was absolutely fantastic. She met everyone’s comfort level - meaning I let my horse graze while my daughter cantered - at the end of the ride. She was knowledgeable and funny and so kind. We loved her. The whole experience was great; it’s such a beautiful property!
