This was a fantastic day with Pavla from Northern Hikes. Everything was very smooth, Pavla a great and knowledgeable host who looked after us so well. Lunch was so good. Fantastic day trip – Our guide was the highlight!

It's such a fun tour packed with train and bus rides and walks in the old winding alleys. Our tour guide Brandon is fantastic. I don't know how he managed to guide 19 tourists from train to train to bus, from one attraction to another and to restaurant, finally back in Prague without missing a beat. Kutna Hora is a charming town with the famous Bone Chapel. However, St. Barbara’s Cathedral is definitely a must-see. If you’re considering a trip from Prague, definitely book this!

Wonderful day exploring in nature and the city

We are a family of 4 (parents and kids ages 18 and 15) who traveled to Europe for a spring break trip. We booked this excursion not knowing much beyond that we wanted to get to Germany for a bit and maybe see some more natural spaces after being in Vienna and Prague. Our guide Ondřej picked us up early and was a great guide throughout the day. He was friendly, informative and very attentive to us and the other group on the tour. The van was clean and comfortable and we had water and snacks. We had a great mix guided tour and then some free time as well. This was a full day and one I would highly recommend to others.

You should be so lucky to get Ondrej!

I can start by saying every 5 star review of this tour is true! I could stop there but I wish I could give more stars because of our guide, Ondrej. Not only was he knowledgeable and personable he was also kind and very patient.. I have recently suffered some vision loss and tried to hurry so as not to slow the rest of the group down. Andrej provided me with a hiking pole and never rushed me. I left my hat and gloves at our lunch stop and he immediately called and had them hold them. Ondrej asked the next tour guide to pick them up and met them when they returned and retrieved them. He brought them to me the next day. He did this for me on his 2 days off! I give this tour 5 stars and Ondrej another 5 stars!

Perfect Day in Czechia!

This is an awesome excursion and experience. It was a magical day. My family and I strongly considered canceling this tour as we were exhausted from the 20K steps a day trek in and around Prague the previous days and a 7:30am start seemed like pushing it. Yet, we got ourselves out that morning and I can safely say it was the BEST day ever!! What can I say about our tour guide Peter that could be enough?? He is a walking Wikipedia of knowledge! OMG! He was full of such information that we knew we were dealing with a local who loved his hometown! The cafe stop for pastries and drinks was divine. Beautiful. My hubs and 3 girls had such a great time that I became a hero booking the tour. Bohemian Switzerland is a must visit! Reminds me of grand canyon and the vastness of the universe and how tiny we humans are in the general scheme of nature's beauty. We enjoyed seeing where Narnia was filmed. We loved crossing the borders to Germany although nature showed us that there were no boundaries as the rock formation continued unhindered by man's arbitrary borders. We saw the Bastei bridge and the continuous beautiful of Sandstone formations. All in all, a must-do journey/tour for anyone old or young. It ended up being our best day! Our 3 daughters will not stop talking about it. Our authentic Czech lunch at the Vetruse restaurant was a highlight. Dessert menu a must. Pack comfy shoes and you are all set!

An enjoyable hike through stunning natural landscapes

This hike was the absolute highlight of our trip. The landscapes were breathtaking and the entire day was very well organized. What made the experience even more special was our guide, Vojta. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the region. The day was filled with incredible sights, funny jokes, and interesting stories about the history, geology, and local culture, which made the places we visited even more meaningful. Vojta did a fantastic job managing the tour, keeping a comfortable pace, and making sure everyone had a great experience. The scenery on both the Czech and German sides of the park was stunning, with dramatic rock formations, beautiful nature, and exceptional viewpoints. A big thank you to Vojta for making this such a memorable day. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Prague who enjoys hiking and wants to experience some of the most beautiful natural landscapes in the region.

Excellent City Tour

Very informative tour of Prague City, only 3 of us on the tour Fri 30th January, we had a personal experience with Sofia, a lovely lady also our guide who was excellent she explained lots of things about the history of each area we visited and the views from the castle were amazing looking over the snow covered land and buildings! The castle area has many beautiful buildings to see such a lovely place! We walked to a lovely shop and had the famous Prague hot chocolate which is something else!! Simply divine! The river cruise was great we had a lovely hot mulled wine, courtesy of a kind American guy who was on the tour with us! We then walked to the Jewish quarter into the old town square to see the astronomical clock which only lasts a minute or two but worth seeing! Perfect way to start your time in Prague

Rug up in December! The tour starts at Prague Castle which is shady in the morning & the wind made the start of the day extremely cold. With the right attire we were fine but many were not. Our guide (Lance) was incredibly knowledgeable. A great first day in Prague experience - get your bearings and come back to those parts you wish you had more time for.
