This is an active and educational trip to Terezin. You will learn a lot about this camp and how it functioned during WWII. The museum held more information than we had time for and is worth a return visit. Our guide Stephan was so helpful and knowledgeable.

Amazing Insight into Communism and a Nuclear Bunker

Fantastic and enlightening tour. Especially interesting since Stan the Travel Guide lived through the Cold War in Czechoslovakia. He was knowledgeable and provided a wealth of information on what the country went through and what it was like to live in a communist regime. The tour of the nuclear bunker was memorable. Holding a Soviet weapon and seeing actual equipment like gas masks and protective suits made it real. Stan provided details, insight and excellent answers to any questions the group had. This was one of my favorite tours and it’s so important we understand this dark and cold chapter of Czech history.

The Views!

Radek was an incredible breath of fresh air with great knowledge of the area, very accommodating, and incredibly kind. He made everyone feel welcome and kept the laughs coming. While we started off in inclement weather, the day drew to a beautiful close with a sunset unlike any other. I would recommend this to anyone, but do be prepared for a lot of stairs.

Don’t miss the Bohemia/Saxon Tour!

This was a well-spent, spectacular day long trip! Tony was our guide and he was so accommodating, knowledgeable and fun! The landscapes we were able to enjoy in Bohemia and Saxon were breathtaking and the boat ride was a nice add and fun! We lucked out with cool, sunny weather so the autumn leaves were highlighted along the paths. The lunch stop provided a good rest and the food was delicious. The restaurant is accommodating for food allergies too! Overall, we were fortunate to have Tony as a guide and beautiful weather to take in all the unforgettable sights.

Pleasant experience

It is around a two hour drive to and from Prague. We did take a bathroom break on the way there and the way back. Our driver, Hans, was very friendly. Andrea was our tour guide. He was very knowledgable. If you want to see inside the castle you have to purchase a ticket on your free time on the tour.

An Amazing Day

My husband and I traveled to Prague with my cousin and his wife. We booked this trip as an opportunity to visit areas outside of the city, and to bear witness to the tragedy of the Shoah. The experience did not disappoint. Our guide, Ondrej, met us at our hotel at the appointed time. He was so welcoming from the start, that it seemed we had known each other for years. Our first stop was Terezin (Theriesenstadt in German). Ondrej led us to the introductory film and then turned our group over to one of the official guides for the site. When we finished the tour, Ondrej was there waiting for us - and he listened to us as we processed some of what we saw. We then drove to Tisá, Czechia where we had a wonderful lunch at Refugio restaurant before climbing a gentle slope to Tisá Rocks (Tiské Stěny), where we followed a trail through the stunning collection of sandstone formations. Ondrej guided our group along the way with skill and humor. He never rushed us, even when we stopped repeatedly to take a zillion photos. The next stop was Bastei Bridge across the German border in the Saxon Switzerland National Park. Another marvel amongst sandstone formations, this time we got to view them from close to their peaks thanks to the bridges. More stunning vistas, history and geological information shared by Ondrej as we navigated our way along the paths. We returned to our hotel almost 11 hours after we departed. The entire day was memorable and we couldn’t have had a better guide! We highly recommend a trip with Bohemian Adventures.

Outstanding tour. The guide was exceptionally informative and very humorous. The tour included Charles Bridge and the Lesser Town, which we hadn't expected. Excellent value for the time and money spent. Also, it was limited to 14 people, with headphones that actually worked.

Fun with friends

We booked this ghost tour in Prague on a bit of a whim while travelling with friends, and we're glad we did! It turned out to be a really fun way to spend the evening. We enjoyed walking through the old streets, hearing the spooky stories, and learning a little about the darker side of Prague's history. The atmosphere made it even more interesting, especially at night. It was a nice change from the usual sightseeing and gave us plenty to talk and laugh about afterward. Very good tour for information and history. Combination of bus, boat and walking. We thought walking would be short, but it was almost 2 hours. It was necessary to see the castle, old town and Jewish quarters. But people with mobility issues may find it tiring, even though walking is mostly flat. Our guides were very patient and walked at a slow pace to accommodate everyone. We saw almost everything important.
